Living Proof Live Pensacola – Ticket Giveaway

Good Wednesday morning, Siestas! Typically we would wait until tomorrow to post the ticket giveaway, but tomorrow is December 1st and we all know what that means. Our SSMT post will be of utmost importance, so, as to not double up tomorrow, we’re hitting it a day early!

All of that to say, as stated earlier, the very last LPL of 2011 is this coming weekend and they’re going out with a bang in the “Sunshine State”. Quite different from our last LPL in Wyoming where it was snowing!

Thanks to the Siesta Scholarship Fund, we are thrilled to offer 20 scholarship tickets for those of you that desire to attend, but just cannot afford it at this time.

If that is you and you qualify for this, we will offer the tickets to the first 20 ladies that call the Living Proof Β office during regular business hours (8:30 – 4:30 CST). Please ask for Kimberly or Susan at 1-888-700-1999 and they will take care of you. If you happen to get the voicemail or call during the lunch hour, please leave a message and we will get back to you as soon as possible. It is such a joy to us that the Lord allows us to do this and we pray you are blessed!

Also, you certainly wouldn’t waste a prayer on our Siesta Mama as she prepares for this weekend. I know she appreciates each and every one of them.

Those of you that are attending this weekend, we pray the Lord is near. The nearness of God is our good! Amen!

A few months ago, that British Boyfriend of mine mentioned to me that he had noticed I hadn’t gone to a LPL in awhile and that, in 2012, he would like to take me to one as a gift. What a man, right?! I’m going to peek at the 2012 schedule to see what one will work with my schedule.

Confession: if I wasn’t shooting a bridal portrait session this Saturday, I would totally be coming to this weekend’s LPL. We have pretty cheap flights to FL from here. πŸ™‚

    Dear Lord Jesus,
Thank you Lord for Beth, Travis and team. I pray that your anointing would fall fresh on everyone all the way down to the set up crew. That the anointing of your Holy Spirit would flow through them so strongly it would be felt by every person who crosses the threshold of that place. Brig salvation Lord to those who do not know you. May they be so enveloped in your presence that they almost can’t help but run up front to recieve you into their lives. Dearest Lord, for those who enter with a heavy heart who maybe felt they couldn’t look at their lives and think of anything to be thankful for -may they recieve the word they so desperately need and may a fresh blossom of hope be renewed in their hearts. Lord, just lastnight as I was worrying and I said to you Lord sometimes I feel like I’m standing at great precipice. You so sweetly whispered to my heart that Child in order to fall off that precipice first you would have to get through me, and that is never going to happen because I am never going to let you go. May every person in that place know they have found a love that will not let them go. I am so exicted Lord for what you’re going to do! Be blessed and go forth LPL team. In the mighty and precious name of Jesus, Amen!

    Heavenly Father,
Thank you for Beth and Living Proof Ministries for their faithful and love for you. God you move in ways that we cannot see or understand sometimes. I pray that You will speak to the hearts of these women who attend this conference. I pray they will know You and draw closer to You, Lord.
Cover them with Your love. Comfort them and give them the joy and peace of Your presence.
Give Beth Your words, Your strength and You wisdom for Your honor and glory.
God take the hurting and heal their hurts. Take the lonely and give them Your love and comfort. Take the blind and help them to see You. Take the deaf and let them hear Your word. Take the poor and needy and do not cast them aside. Give those who need a Shepherd a Sovereign Savior and Deliver. Thank you Lord for Your hope and promises. in Christ,

    Dear Beth & Crew:
I’m sooo very excited that my posse and I will be in Pensacola with you!!! We have been to the last 4 Simulcast and got such wonderful blessings from them but this is our first Live. Also a bunch of the sweet Ladies from my Church, Pine Grove Baptist Church, Picayune, Mississippi, several of whom are also my family members, will be there too. They are so excited because they were with you live in Birmingham last December and told me it was amazing to hear and feel God move in such a mighty way among all those women. What an exciting time to be a Christian woman and be able to come together in something that our loving Father geared just for us to hear His word and worship Him together with the Saints in Heaven! God has done such amazing things in my groups lives over the last couple of years individually and collectively. Especially following your Fall 2010 simulcast. It was in the parking lot of our Church following the trip to the simulcast that 3 of us stayed in the van when we returned and felt God’s hand on us to stop and pray together right then and we poured out our hearts to Him for His direction in our lives, in our service to Him, for our families who were in pain and needed to be set free from their chains and some who needed salvation, we prayed for our lives that we draw closer to Him and that we would do more for Him to give more of ourselves to Him and to be a light for Jesus in such a dark world. God in His infinite love and mercy heard our cries and began immediately that very afternoon to move in a dramatic way. He began speaking to us all three separately, but giving us all three the same scriptures and directions to come together as one in what He had planned for us. All of our lives were dramatically changed. I even ended up with the most Godly wonderful husband – girl that simulcast was worth the ticket and our God is Good!!! lol. Seriously, its all too much to tell in an email but I will say that only a little over 2 months later, on January 10, 2011 without one penny to our names and no idea how we were to do it, we kept praying together daily and just being obedient to God when He said do this or do that today, we did what He led us to do each day and He began to bring others forward and put His pieces together that He had been working in some cases for a long time apparently, the Lord opened the doors to Flames of Truth Ministries, Inc. The Ministry has a widows ministry which visits & takes meals to widows, widowers, and shut-ins weekly and does errands & takes them to Dr appointments or shopping at no charge to them at all; provides a food and clothes bank for the needy; has a wonderful christian home school (Truth Learning Center) with 24 students and 4 teachers; a teen center with monthly youth bible studies led by one of our high school senior boys who on his own felt God calling him to do this; a grief support center that the Lord began recently after my precious 22 year old son, who knew the Lord, but tragically got caught up in the world and died of a drug overdose May 14th, (That is a story in itself about how God’s grace has been so amazing in this journey called life); a weekly Adult Bible study; and a disaster center to gather and distribute supplies, not only for our area, but also to take wherever the Lord leads like He did after the recent Tornadoes hit North Mississippi and Alabama this year. And we are continuing to pray as He leads. All of this was pretty mind blowing to us because we meant it when we said we wanted to serve Him more but boy did He take us at our word. It has been pretty mind blowing for everyone around us too, many of whom in our own families who thought that we were nuts, but its all to God’s Glory. We serve an Amazing Mind Blowing God!!! Thank you for bringing His Holy Word to us that day and continuing to do so. It is such a blessing to praise and worship and study together with so many thousands of beautiful women across the world. (ha ha not to put any pressure on you and Travis for this weekend). Besides, you’ll be fine, God’s got this covered πŸ™‚ but just in case you feel you need a little support, our group is praying for you daily this week that Christ will speak and move through you all, that souls will be saved and lives will be forever changed. I love my God and I love you my dear Sister in Christ.

I’ve managed to attend a LPM conference every year for several years & we (usually my mom & sister/s) always make a vacation out of wherever we choose to go. My mom was just saying a few days ago that she hasn’t attended one in a while, so we are looking into the Austin, TX conference next summer. She has an aunt who lives there who will be 102 years old next month, so we’ll see her too.
I’ll be at the Scripture Memorization Event next month & CANNOT wait!
I’ll be praying for you all this weekend for sure.
    Love,
    Valerie

Praying God does amazing things this weekend at the LPL event!

Lord, let hearts be softened, lives be restored, and captives be delivered from all that hold them in bondage. May nothing stand against the truth of your Word as it brings freedom and light into the lives of Your precious daughters. Give to each of them a certainty of what Your will is for this season of their lives. May we rejoice with the angels next week that many more sisters of faith have been added to Your Kingdom this weekend. Amen!

    Note to Krista –

I think the Bible Study you asked about during the November 21st recipe exchange is “Jesus the One and Only”. It was filmed in Israel and has that Hebrew song at the beginning.

I was not raised with believing parents. My husband is not a believer. I have a church I love to go to and know a few folks there, but my worship experience is pretty much solo. That’s OK, I actually like that. However, I have always wanted to go to one of these events. I see them posted before and after and always think WISTFULLY … I wish I could do something like that. I thought about going to Houston for the memory verses, but I seem to be on the 2 year plan and then really didn’t want to go solo with the whole hotel experience, etc. Well, get this!!! Someone who goes to my church mentioned the event in July in Cedar Park and did I want to go? Well, YES!!! I live in Austin. I just bought my ticket for the event. I bought it at work before heading home today. I have to say I cried the whole way home. ME!!! I am going!!! And with someone! I am so pleased with what God has arranged for me. Little old me who was raised a few years ago out of the ashes … WOW!

This is not at all the appropriate place to leave this comment but here I go anyway…I am so excited my fingers can’t even keep up with the speed-typing…I’m doing the James study and I DIDN’T KNOW HIS NAME WAS JACOB!!! OH, my word, that just blew me away. How had I never learned that before?? That’s HUGE. Consider the fact that Jacob wrestled with God, and James/Jacobus wrestled with faith in the Christ. I saw Session 2 last night and was just blown away by that. Then this morning, I read Melissa’s article discussing it further, and I just bawled. How beautiful that He brings it all together in that “symphony”, huh? Praise Him.

Okay, hyper rant over. Thank you ladies so much!!
