When you talked about your love of notebooks, I laughed out loud. Every time we do any kind of study with an 8 1/2 x 11 book format, the first thing I do is cut it apart and 3-hole-punch it so I can put it in a notebook….

It must be that lifelong love of school supplies coming out!

Just wanted to say Amen and Hello! So good to “see” you and Star. So glad you’re finished with your portion of James. (Melissa might be finished by now too!)

    Much love to you all!

    Hi Beth,
So this is quite a few days after you posted your video. I have been sick for what feels like months, but really has only been a about 3 weeks of flu type stuff & a few before that of morning sickness. I thought it was because I have been so tired that everyone has been on my last nerve and annoying me. I have fought my pride for years and really thought I had (finally) submitted to God, but you spoke right at me and I needed to hear it TODAY! Had I heard this a few days ago, I would have blown it off and said ‘Im tired, Im allowed to be annoyed’ but that isn’t fair or even accurate. Thank you for pointing out that it really is my pride rearing its ugly old head. And Thank God for his timing.

AHA!!! I KNEW IT! I KNEW we had something in common – I LOVE NOTEBOOKS, TOO!!!

And, btw – OUCH!!!!! That last word you gave was right on the nose. Funny thing is, I was just thinking about that very thing this past weekend.

Oh my goodness, I needed to hear everything you said today. I have recently felt the call from God to lead and teach women, and I’m in the process of discovering exactly what that looks like for me. A huge part of that is teaching myself how to study the Bible and then develop lessons, devotions, blog posts, etc. Thanks so much for the brief info you gave on how you prepare for your LPL’s – I felt like a sponge soaking it all in. Still discovering my process, but your sharing was so encouraging. Especially your affinity for notebooks (HA) – I think I have a million and I can’t stop! Thanks again for serving all us.

Hey Beth, I just got back home from a long road trip with my husband. I thought about you so much because it was partially through New Mexico with my dogs in tow!
The best part of this note is to tell you how encouraged I am by your insight on prep for speaking at LPL!

I found out when we started in July that I have stage 4 CLL a type of Leukemia. I’ll be starting Chemo therapy on the 29th, but what is wonderful about it is that I have been asked to speak at a Christmas Banquet for the women at our church. The theme they gave me is JOY!

How great is our God to really start living out His word in the midst of this trial by the Dispaly of His splendor that is JOY! Who am I? During this time I am sure that I will be learning, what James taught us, to count it all joy!

I love you and just know you are being used by our outrageous, scandalous Savior to get in deep with Him in the middle of my Mundane garden variety life, that He may be known through out the Earth for time and testimony!

    IntheBeloved,
    Anastasia
