wasn’t there..looks as though everyone was enjoying themselves and that all had a good experiences and had fun. Use to go to a local church camp for ladies night and their ladies overnighter, plus Spring luncheon. Miss going. All the ladies I went with now go to different churches. :)!

Funny how each LPL has it’s own “personality”. Loved the re-cap as I wasn’t there, either. I really appreciate the HOURS it takes to put these together for our pure enjoyment. Thank you!

Seeing these beautiful ladies from California makes me miss my sister more :(. I know she wishes she could have been part of this. She always talks about how she misses her former Sunday school teacher (Beth), and is so excited that ladies from her church will start their very first Beth Moore study this month. Can’t wait to see her soon!

I always love and enjoy the videos that are put together for those of us who cannot attend an event. However, if you have ever attended one, it doesn’t take long to get swept up in the moment and the memories of the glorious sounds that filled the auditorium. I am always waiting for Momma Beth to come to the Southeast so I can drive or fly. Such a ministry that fills our hearts with hope, truth and the love of our precious God. Keep it up Beth, Amanda, Melissa and Travis, you are a gift of Gods love to his children

I gotta tell ya, sometimes I get mad. Mad at hubby, mad at boys, mad at friends, and mad at God. (GASP!)
    I’m just saying!
and when I’m mad, I DO NOT want to open my Bible. Especially when I’m mad at my Abba Daddy. I am praying kingdom promoting prayers over my boys, and NOTHING!!!
    M. A. D.!
and then I log on, and listen to Travis. I am persuaded.
Melts my mad like butter in July.

    Thank you Rich.

I hope to do a vegetable garden next year, this year I started small with some herbs. The basil is doing well, and the cilantro is coming along, and smells good, too. My oregano is slow poking, don’t know what I did wrong there. I keep trying!

And now, I know I want to plant some sunflowers next year, your pictures persuaded me! They are beautiful, and I have a good spot in the back yard picked out.

Beautiful music! Love the cross in the background while Beth is speaking also. Just thinking about how much God loves us and nothing can seperate us touches my heart. We have alot to be thankful for.
Just watching the video reminds me of God’s love surrounding us and feeling His presence just knowing He cares about so many women is a blessing!

    Jamie says:

What a great weekend it must have been. I hope to attend sometime in the near future. I just love listening to Travis and especially “I Am Persuaded”. I have to share that my 3 year old daughter loves this song and has memorized the entire scripture Beth recites (Romans 8:35,37-39) from listening to it over and over in the car. It is the sweetest thing to hear her say, “Who shall sepawate us fwum da wuv of Christ? Shall twouble or hodship…” It blesses my heart!

    Marla says:

We moved to the high country in Colorado via Las Vegas via California. For the past two years I have tried desperatly to grow tomatoes to no avail. It is mid July and we had a twister, hurricane, hail, and thunderstorm rolled into one yesterday. My house is covered with the beautiful petunia petals I was marveling at yesterday prior to the storm. The tomatoes, well they have a few flowers and bead sized tomatoes that will never see their way to full beauty before the frost gets to them in September. I am missing my California garden that was filled with juicy tomatoes and pumpkins in the fall.

      Lynne says:

Sounds like you need to provide some shelter for your little tomatoes next year . . . they can’t make it on their own in the climate you now find yourself (kind of like all of us trying to produce fruit in this world w/o God’s shelter, I guess)

Perhaps a plant cloche would be enough(if you can’t build a cold frame) to warm them and protect them from the changeable/undependable Colorado weather?

I am so glad I found out about this blog after attending a simulcast on So Long Insecurity. To be able to come here and read other women’s stories and how God is creating a beautiful tapestry in all of us(even when we can only see the tangled side) is the strength when I am weak> Thank you

    Chaundra says:

Wow, I am still reeling on all that the Lord had to say to me from the “How Much More?” Irvine weekend. You had me from hello, but this weekend was FOR ME right down to the Fritos and bean dip story…literally, no joke. And the view of our earthly father as compared to our heavenly Father. The Lord didn’t end at noon on Saturday, as church on Sunday kept the message going for me right through worship about “establishing His Kingdom” and “wanting more of You”…and a sermon about “How Bad Do You Want It?”. I am so full, but can’t get enough of Him! Thank you to the whole team for being vessels of His love. Your ministry has spoken to my heart through smiles and through tears and over many years and I am so thankful for your willing hearts that carry the Good News of our Savior’s love. It has change my life and filled a void. He sends the right people at the right time and place! Riding that Pony Bee! 🙂

    Kathy Grigsby says:

    Beautiful!!!!!!!!!

  34. 34

The concept that nothing is able to separate us from His love has got to be one of the most comforting truths of all of scripture, I’m completely convinced. His measureless love:) And the message was about not worrying about today?! What and LPL this was. Sufficient for the day is it’s own trouble, AaaMen! AaaMen! Amen! Amen!

    My Writer’s Prayer

I love the blue lines on the page – like ocean waters inviting me to dive in and be carried with the currents to strange and exotic places where adventure waits. The open possibilities of the page – the hidden wells and fanciful springs of imagination just below the surface waiting to bubble up and soak the page, refreshing and invigorating.

Lord Jesus, You are the living water, please come fill me anew – unleash the birthright of my gift. Crown with favor the anointing power of Your truth. Help me to integrate my desire to create with my desire to serve and please You.

Please release me from all fear and bondage to flow in the redemptive creativity of Your love. For freedom You have set me free – please give me new, unexpected, unfathomable freedom on the page.

Please release me from the pressure to change people with my writing – Only You can do that! Only You can change a person’s heart and only You can save.

Please show me Your expectations – Your goal for my writing and who I really am.

I want a twirling dress for my spirit. A return to lightness and joy. Not a dereliction of duty, but an accurate view of what I am responsible for and what I am not responsible for.

My heart cries for freedom and intimacy and companionship – I am hungry for You.

I need help in my writing – in direction, in focus, in craft, in discipline, in in-filling, in perseverance, in break-through to publishing, in joy and distress, heartache and ecstasy, and in mentors and guidance.

I want to begin again and I want to begin with You. To take the lid off and laugh. To drink deeply and breathe freely and love with every cell in my body. I want to live in the abundance and overflow of Your grace, glory, mercy and love.

I want to lose myself in You and find that I have been created anew in the image of You.

My heart is filled with gratitude for the wonder of You. For everything You’ve poured out upon me and my family and for everything You ARE!

You are gracious. When I am a pain, You don’t handle me with distance. When I’m being a pill, You don’t swallow me up – You love me through. When I am petty and mean, You are expansive and forgiving. When I am plagued with doubt, You heal me with divine certainty to glimpse what is the height and breadth and depth and length of Your love for me.

Help me to appreciate the mystery of You and accept the workings of Your Grace and not try to figure everything out all the time. To let Your love and grace take wing in my life and resist the urge to pin it down and mount it under glass.

I’m asking the untamed You to infuse the real me to engage in authentic creativity and step with boldness onto the uncharted page.

    In Jesus’ name I pray.

I had the privelege of being prompted by the Holy Spirit to invite and organize a large group of women from my family to attend this event. We ranged in age from 21 to 80! Mothers, daughters, cousins, and Grandma! Beautiful!

It was a struggle for me to get there, and when Beth started out saying… You are here for a reason. God orchestrated your week to be prepared for a Word this weekend… it was all I could do to keep from crying!

Thank you Beth and Travis (and team!) for allowing your lives to be used by God in such a way lives are transformed, put back on track, filled with Him, and hungry for more! You gave it all you had and held nothing back! Praise His Name!

    Laura says:

Despite the fact I had barely enough energy to even stand at the event – it was GREAT. LOVED the lesson. Will definitely stick with me. I see the Lord’s Prayer differently and how God answer’s differently than I had envisioned before. Just that He ALWAYS answers but not in the way I might have asked all the time. I now am going to be more likely to think, “Well, maybe that was a (stone/scorpion/snake) that I was asking for and He’s given me bread….instead. I’ll just RIDE THAT PONY BEE!!!!” Really helped me. (That Pony Bee story was a hoot!)

    Noelle says:

It’s reminds me so much of the worship time in Grand Rapids. There is something about worshipping the Lord with all my sisters that is so profound. How grateful to have been part of it and how much I was able to take home with me. A tiny glimpse of heaven, I think…

I already posted my heart response to an amazing time in Irvine!! When Beth talked about hearing God say “STOP IT” my girlfriend and I immediately burst out laughing as we remembered this clip from You Tube my psychology professor in seminary showed us. If only the two word answer enabled us to knock it off. I will hear Beth’s voice ringing in my ears with the words!!
