My best friend and our two daughters were totally blessed by this weekend in St. Louis. Your passion is contagious and we are set to bless 2 more people in Lexington in August. We try to remind eachother daily by emailing or texting “Imago Dei” to each other. Thank you to the entire team and event coordinators for making this a weekend to remember, absorb, and live!

Thanks for sharing this. It pumps me up for Richmond in August. God is working on me to get me more comfortable in group settings, even one on one can send me over sometimes!! I love seeing women of all kinds worshiping together, plugging in to the Word and being vulnerable in order to be free!!

I have the WORST time playing these videos! I have done everything I know what to do, and can’t get them to play consistently. Some days they do; most days they don’t. Any advice? Thanks.

IMAGO DEI!! Beth, I LOVED this lesson! It is so exiting when the 3 sessions of great teaching come together into a wonderful picture of Christ! I hope you know that when you make a wonderful point or statement and nobody shouts “amen,” it’s because we are all frantically writing every word we can scribble down to capture God speaking to us! I don’t want to forget a thing.

And to Teri, thank you so much for your example of commitment and love of God…to be working on your Bible study the day after your surgery! (have I really been taking Saturdays off??) Thank you for being brave enough to walk up there onto the stage in front of everyone. I was so blessed by you!

If any of you have never listened to the “flash card video” of Dr S.M. Lockridge on YouTube I highly recommend it. It’s titled “That’s My King!” and is a reminder of just WHO our God is and WHAT He can do. I’ve been listening to it everyday. Blesses my heart!
    Check it out!!

Whenever I’m feeling like I need to rekindle my fire, I find one of the LPL videos on this blog and am immediately reminded of the LPL I attended in Albuquerque a year ago. That was one of the most meaningful weekends of my life and seeing an LPL video never fails to get me pumped all over again. My daily walk with the Lord is strong, sometimes I just need to feel that flame, you know? Thanks for doing what you do as the Lord calls you to do it!

Loved the video of St. Louis LPL! My husband and I grabbed a weekend away last weekend in St. Louis. Imagine my dismay when he made the hotel reservations and told me we were “on” for the trip, and when I checked my calendar, there was “Beth Moore LPL” written on that weekend! It had been my dream to get a group of friends to go, since we live in Kansas City, only 4 1/2 hours away. But it never happened, so I ended up in a hotel just about a mile from where Beth was speaking, with all these wonderful Christian women — and I was so envious!! I was coveting their weekend!! I had to have a little talk with myself and remind myself that my man was blessing me with a whole weekend to ourselves, and I had to get my head around it! Thank God, He gave me the strength (!) to enjoy myself. Is that ridiculous, or what??!! I must admit, when we went down for breakfast on Sat. morning, I had to grab one of the ladies and ask what Beth was teaching about! We did pray for you, Beth, every time we prayed over a meal. Even my husband prayed for you. And I wouldn’t trade the time we had kneeling beside our bed in our hotel room and praying together. That’s something that doesn’t happen that often, but when it does, oh, I know God is smiling! (Don’t misunderstand, he’s a godly retired pastor, but just likes to pray alone!!) Anyway, I can’t wait to hear more about the weekend and your teaching. I know it was an anointed time.
    Back home in Kansas,

I was there! IT was GREAT! Beth and Travis were such a blessing.
I have now started reading So Long Insecurity – I am so excited! I am on a new journey to end the years of insecurity! I DO.NOT.WANT. to pass those insecurities onto my daughter someday! Amen!

I am always amazed and encouraged by these recaps-I know each lady in the audience was given an opporunity to be touched by Christ’s love because of LPM. thank you- I attended a generational healing study this past week. One of the points was that the healthier an individual becomes through the healing of our Lord, the more the Holy Spirit can flow through us to others. Your mother’s brave and amazing journey with her Lord is such a beautiful example of this truth. As I have expressed so many times, THANK YOU. I am so grateful to have been directed to LPM over ten years ago by my Houston friends. The biblical quote about “knowing them by their fruits” certainly applies to you my dear Siestas. God Bless You and all at LPM, Kathy, Austin

This conference was so moving and it opened my eyes to so much! I cant thank Beth enough. I didn’t see the post about coming down to meet. My pastors wife did though and I am so happy for her! Sadly one of the ladies who attended returned home and her ex husband killed her. http://www.thetelegraph.com/news/alton-42004-identified-murder.html Please be in prayer for her children who witnessed this. I pray She was saved and one day her and her children will be together again.

    Beth,

I checked out the recap video from St. Louis. My friend Darla and I were there from Peoria, Illinois. It was a last-minute thing for me to go. I have been going through some incredibly hard times with my family (mom, dad, sisters) and this conference came at the perfect time.

Earlier that week, Darla had called me saying that she had a free night at the Drury Inn and was wondering if I could buy a ticket to the conference. I said, Of course! And off we went.

It’s special that she and I went together. She is 14 years older than me with three children; I have none. We are both married. But she’s become a dear friend and mentor to me through these times, and we even went to Honduras on a missions trip in 2008.

I am moving to South Korea soon to be with my soldier who is stationed there. I probably will not be able to go to the conference on September 18 in Chicago, so Darla thought it would be nice if I could see you again (!) in St. Louis. (I came to Springfield in November with some ladies from church.)

I just wanted to let you know how much you speak to me as a teacher. I teach high school and I really appreciate all the research and notes you do for each Bible study and session. I came to LPL in St. Louis with my Hebrew/Greek Keyword Study Bible (LOVE it!), favorite notebook, and pen. I was ready to learn! And learn I did.

As I write this, I tear up. Breaking Free gave me the motivation I needed to pray for God to really break me free from generational strongholds, and now I’m praying that for my family as well. Believing God came at a perfect time when, as many people realize, the military doesn’t always give a timeline. But I know God is bigger than the Army and I will be with my husband soon (we’ve been living apart since April 2009 when he went to training and I taught here in Illinois).

I restate the five statements of faith on a seemingly daily basis and draw strength from those forever-truths.

Thank you for your obedience to the Lord; you are a beautiful woman of God who exemplifies Proverbs 31 to me.

Love, (I feel like I know you so I will say this instead of “Sincerely”)

    Elizabeth Wilcoxon
