Ten-Ticket Giveaway for Albuquerque Living Proof Live!

Sorry I’m delayed on getting this invitation out there, Siestas! My life is a roller coaster right this minute. Among other things, my wonderful hair stylist didn’t have enough time this morning to do both color and a cut and I had to decide between the two. What do you mean, which did I choose? Are you kidding? Color! Still, it was entirely too much to ask of a person. After all, I paid out with great highlights and hair nearly to my waist. Of course, I’m overblowing this whole thing in case you’re thinking I need to get a life. And if you’re not thinking that and, instead, feeling sorry for me, you may be my best friend. Anyway, I studied my commentaries the whole time I was there. I’m not just blonder than I pay to be. I’m a real student. I just want to be a real student with great hair. Now you’ve gone and made me feel defensive. Sniff.

Even this late in the week, I still want to pitch the opportunity out there for anybody who wants to go to the Albuquerque LPL this Friday night and Saturday till noon but can’t spare the money for a ticket! If you’re among the first ten women to call, I’ve got you a seat, Girlfriend. Please call Living Proof Ministries toll free at 1-888-700-1999 and ask for Susan or Kimberly and, thanks to the Siesta Scholarship Fund, we’ll get you fixed right up. Call any time till 4:30 CST today or from 8:30-4:30 CST tomorrow (Friday). IF YOU WANT TO COME, WE WANT YOU THERE.

We love you, Siestas!

PS. I’ll be the 52 year-old with the long hair.

That always happens to me- the choosing between the cut and the color. Sorry, but it made me feel better that I am not the only one who has to make such choices. Wishing I lived closer to New Mexico.

LOL! The color of course is the pick of the day. You can always put the hair up in many dos and hide the much needed cut.

Just a couple of days ago, I thought of a hair lesson taught to us by you last summer. It was a crazy day in my house with at one point 6 boys at the same time ages 3-12 and I had planned on doing my hair that afternoon so it would last for the AM. I know, I know. I put my hair in a pony tail AND a hat: Siesta Mama would not be happy with me for doing this to my hair! It was only like that for 2 hours during the basketball game and then my shower of redemption.

Beth, you would be a blessing if you showed up in a house coat and rollers.

Question for you. What do you think of your Kindle? Do you have Bibles and Reference material on it? I am considering one, and I know if anyone was going to put it through it's paces it would be you.

    love you Beth,
    I love your hair…:)

I was with a friend on Wednesday night and she has very short hair always sprayed perfectly but this night her hair was out of order, wind blown and she is ultimately conservative. I told her, 'I love your hair!" I love the freedom of it being all over the place. Not all stuck together in one place. Each little hair particle is probably very thankful to have a little freedom from each other. 'Hey! I'm tired of being stuck to you all the time, can I get a little breathing room once in a while…freedom, YEA! I can move and groove."

Beth, I'm sure you look beautiful! Try to avoid the pitfall I sometimes fall into by picking up the scissors and whacking on your own hair.

    Ditto Bethie!

I had to choose myself about a week ago. NO BRAINER. Can't go to my 25 year college reunion with gray and brown sprouting from my scalp. NO MA'AM. Have fun in NM.

Grab a chip clip if all else fails. Start a new trend…

It could be worse…My hairdresser already had my color ready when I walked in for my appointment Wednesday. After she blow-dried me, I realized she'd made a mistake and put in the wrong color! Two months ago we'd decided I should go lighter. Guess she had a momentary glitch in her memory bank! But it's better than seeing gray. LOL!

LOL! Bethie, I totally get the hair deal… I paid to be blonde (and red and brown) for a lot of years, too. I am a natural nearly black-headed brunette, who prematurely began greying at age 16. My hair is thick, straight, and it grows faster than a cheetah on steroids can run! It was just too expensive to keep coloring it month after month. I finally gave up on coloring my hair about the time I met Hunky Hubby eight years ago. I looked like a calico cat for a while because I decided to just let the roots grow out and cut it off when the roots were long enough. 🙂 Thankfully, when God painted my natural haircolor, He gave me some pretty grey… I just keep it styled young (it's a spikey porcupine "do" right now), so I don't look like an old woman! 🙂

Hope the conference was good. I have a cousin in ABQ… I am betting she was there.

I am so happy to hear that you are doing this now. I called an asked for tickets to the San Antonio event because I did not have the money. I was told that you didn't have a way to do that. I am so thankful that you have now found a way to help many women like that loves Beth Moore and really wants to be there.
