He is Risen!

Happy Easter, everyone! What a joyous day!

It’s AJ just stopping in to share some pictures with our Blog Peeps.

And by some pictures I mean many more pictures than you’d ever want to see.

On Saturday my cousin Joe, who’s in school to be a fireman, was in town participating in a fundraiser with a local fire department.
Cousin + access to a fire truck + three-year-old boy = no brainer.
We rolled out of bed and headed that way. In fact, Annabeth was still in her pajamas.

I got some fun stuff for my kids from the Target dollar section. Jackson was thrilled that Annabeth “wanted to share” all her goodies.

Those Cadbury mini-eggs were calling my name late last night and – gasp! – I opened them. My excuse is that I’ve been sick and that’s all that sounded good. They were delish.

After attending a wonderful worship service at our church, we went to Mom and Dad’s house for lunch. We were joined by my grandparents, my cousin Joe, and our friends Roger, Lynn, and Michelle. Mom was the hostess with the mostest. We were only missing Melissa and Colin and boy did we miss them!

You never know what will entertain a child. Here Jackson was rolling pieces of Trix cereal down his race car ramp.

It rained and stormed all morning, but then the sun came out and we had a beautiful day. We were excited to have the chance to do the Easter egg hunt outside.

Here’s the Easter Bibby hiding eggs.

All done!

Lynn was helping Jackson go through his Easter eggs when his sugar high kicked in. I now present a photographic series called “Progression of a Mess.” Please hear my child laughing, squealing, and yelling “Surprise!”

To top off an already great day, Curt’s mom just called and said our young nephew, Gavin, prayed to receive Christ last night. Praise the Lord!

I hope all of you had a wonderful weekend celebrating Christ our King. He is risen indeed!

Amanda, thanks for sharing all those precious pics. I hope the Easter Bibby remembered where she hid all those eggs because this Nana surely did not. Annabeth is darling and that little Jackson, I love those laughing eyes. Enjoy them every moment!

Amanda, I am having the challenge of deciding which is sweeter….the sweet little picture of your sweet little family OR the sweet little picture of Bibby, Paw paw and their sweet grandchildren!

I can just imagine that these pictures were shear torture for Melissa….not being able to visit for Easter Sunday. At least you have pictures to share!

Don’t ever fear sharing too many pictures….some of us will just eat them up!!

    Thanks for sharing!

I thought of sweet Beth when I bought Peeps for our boys this Easter. 🙂 So happy to be counted a “peep” by the Almighty Himself!

    P. S. On Resurrection Day my daughter and I were talking about dreams…

She said, “I had a dream I was adopted by Beth Moore.”

    I said, “Well, that’s a decent trade!”

She said, “Mom, I don’t even remember what Beth Moore looks like but I knew it was her.”

Is there an interpreter in the house?

LOL…I luved the “peeps” reference… very witty and the bunny ears what a riot! 😉

You all are too much fun!

Thanks for all the great pictures…and that Fire truck is cool…I can’t imagine how over the top your 3 year old little boy was and probably still is!!

Lord bless to All and I am thankful our Savior is alive and active today. May we see, hear and experience more of His presence each and everyday. May His word continue to go forth and Praise the Lord it will not come back void.

He has risen indeed! This should be my every morning quote. A reminder that everything is in His hands.
Love the pictures! My Sarah Jane (recently turned 6) would love to be the little “mama” of Annabeth. Her maternal instincts are strong. So much so, I sometimes wonder “Who’s the mama?”. Richard (3) would like the firetrucks and Trix rolling down the racetrack.

My favorite is the one of Jackson hunting eggs (from behind). Such a cute little man!

I can’t help but wonder if that’s his teddy bear on the fire truck dashboard.

You have a lovely family and it sounds like a perfect Easter. Ok, I have a “health” question for Beth. What is a typical eating and exercising day for Beth Moore; your mom is in great shape, what’s her secret?
    Happy Day,
    Amanda

Love the pictures of the easter basket demolition. The tossing about of the Easter grass was especially fun. I can’t stand that stuff, though! 🙂 Looks great in the basket but I cannot seem to get it all picked up from around my house. It just keeps hanging on and on and on . . .

    Beth,

I am liking your hair these days. Me, I Honestly looked at the actor who played well, yup, that vampire guy, and wondered what kind of mousse he uses.

On a different note, on Good Friday I called the local DVD store and asked about renting “The Passion of Christ” and the response was, “Has there been some report about this? Lots of people have been calling and both DVDs are out!”

    We are definitely, “the remnant.”

    Peace and grace, Charlotte
