Flying To New Orleans!

Hey, You Darlin’ Thangs!

This has to be super short because I’m sitting at the gate for my New Orleans flight and they’re just about to call for boarding. I dig airports. Great people watching. I’ve been sipping on my Starbucks and taking it all in. I just love watching people walk through the terminals with their neck pillows still on. It brings me a ton of joy. I hope some of them come to the New Orleans LPL…and wear their pillows. You never know when you’ll need a quick snooze.

I just wanted to let you know that 50 – count them, FIFTY – women will attend the Living Proof Live this weekend because of your scholarship fund. Give the Lord some praise!! Pray for God’s Spirit to fall on us like a holy flood. The glorious and welcomed kind of flood.

I’m so honored to take this journey with you. To love Jesus with you. He is everything. I hope you have a wonderfully blessed weekend with one Jesus sighting after another.

Talk to you soon! I love you.

PS. Our precious Annabeth is 2 months old today! We are deliriously happy!

WOW!! This so exciting on all levels. I am so excited to hear about these 50 women who are attending thanks to the Scholarship fund. It reminds me of what it says in Luke 6:38 “Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you.Ò€ It is so amazing to see this playing out live in action.

This event as a whole is very exciting. May all of you be richly blessed at this event. May each and every person experience the presence of the Lord in a very intimate and personal way.

    Ò€œThe LORD bless you and keep you;
    The LORD make His face shine upon you, and be gracious to you;
The LORD lift up His countenance upon you,and give you peace.Ò€Ò€ℒ
    Numbers 6:24-26

May He preserve your comings and goings and bring you safely home again.

Have a great Jesus kind of weekend. Lord Bless you all!!

PS: Congrats on precious Annabeth too. Has it really been 2 months already…

Thanks for the update, Beth. Love those LPM conferences. San Antone still brings back sweet memories. Can’t wait until you come to Springfield, IL in the fall. Here is a verse that my prayer friends and I prayed this morning for each other. I found it very powerful and comforting at the same time, and I will be praying it for you and all the attendees this weekend.
    Heb. 13:20-21
Now the God of peace, who brought up from the dead the great Shepherd of the sheep through the blood of the eternal covenant, even Jesus our Lord, equip you in every good thing to do His will, working in us that which is pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be the glory forever and ever, Amen.
May you feel the Presence of the great Shepherd as you feed his sheep. God Bless!

Said a prayer of blessing over your weekend Beth. 50 scholarships! Wow! God’s people blessing others in such economic times. Does that speak volumes or what? I know what you mean about airports and the medley of people types there are … all precious in God’s sight. Some of the hairdo’s and hats can make me giggle though.

I just arrived in NOLA for your conference. My best friend rode down with me and was a lucky recipient of one of your scholarships! She is so excited and blessed at this opportunity to come and hear God use you this weekend. We have been continually blessed each week with our Esther studies and to finally get to experience a real life “girlfriend” is causing our cups to run over! LOL! We have been praying for you and know that God’s Kingdom will continue to grow as a result of your work and servitude. Thank you! ~ Tammy from Hattiesburg, MS

I wish I could be there in New Orleans this weekend, I know it’s going to be awesome! I will pray when you come to mind, Beth.

My husband was supposed to get back from his deployment tomorrow after 7 months already, but has been delayed another several weeks. The rubber is meeting the road in terms of where my joy and contentment is going to come from while I deal with the large amount of disappointment I’m feling! I need God’s help!

    Hi, Beth!
Loved your airport observations! Hadn’t flown in 10 years so I’d never been through the “heightened security measures…” On a recent flight back to Tulsa (from the East Coast where I’d transplanted my Bebe Girl for her first “major life move”), I walked blissfully unaware through the security gates with my Ariats on… suffice it to say that my cowboy (cowgirl?) boots survived being X-rayed — TWICE! Yeehah and hallelujah! πŸ™‚

Hope your New Orleans conference went well — praise God for expanding the siesta-hood!

    Beth,
I wanted to leave a comment earlier but I didn’t want to leave it on the scripture memory post.
This past Wed., my 2yr. old woke up at 4 am. After putting him back in bed, I couldn’t get back to sleep. Did I mention that I’m 38 weeks pregnant!?
So I got up and thought, “I can catch the early showing of Wed. with Beth.”
I was thrilled when you began sharing that you were starting a new series on God’s Blessings. You can’t believe how much more I was surpised when you said the title, “The Blessings of Asher.” Our son that is going to born anytime now is going to be named ASHER!
I just thought it was a special gift from the Lord to wake me up to see this program. I’m looking forward to the rest of the study!

As you can see from my profile pic, I was part of the Siesta group at First Woodstock.
Praying for the event this weekend!
    Love you dearly!

We brought a group of 27 ladies and several had never heard Beth speak before or had the awesome experience of worshipping with Travis and the team… let me just say they were blown away by how God is using Beth and her team. Our theme for the weekend is the Holiness of Wholeness! Tonight was wonderful and I cannot wait to hear what God has for us tomorrow! Beth, you are such a blessing. Thank you for your faithfulness and obedience to God to do what He has you to do! You are very loved!

    Beth,
You are loved SO! I absolutely love getting online and anticipate seeing a new post! Isn’t it awesome how we all feel so connected through this high tech means of communication that satan meant for evil but God meant for good!! It has become a lifeline! And can I just say I’m in the middle of Esther. Just watched the session on fear last night and maybe there’s never been a lesson that was SO much where I AM! I was worn out when it was over.:) And on another note….a random note…..I love to do some mothering to young kids….. even though I’m single. But every time I “hear” you call us Darlin’ Things, I can’t help but smile and feel loved and a little mothered. Thanks for loving all of us and helping us love Jesus more. And know this girl in Oklahoma loves you to pieces!

Had 3 extra tkts because some of our girls couldn’t come last minute. Prayed that God would show us who was supposed to use them. Drove down here today with all 3 tkts still unspoken for and praying God had a plan for them. Got turned around while walking to the arena and were given new directions by a local business but to the convention center, not the arena. Because of the time, decided to take a cab. Long story short is that we invite our cab driver Hashim Omer to come to the event…and he does!!! Did God just divinely orchestrate all that!!! Amazing how He works. Hashim is Muslim but open to conversations about Christ. Have invited him back in the am. Praying he comes and that God would grant him spiritual sight and fertile soul soil. May today be his day of salvation!! Pray with me for God’s plank and will to be accomplished in Hashim.

    Beth,
I just returned from the New Orleans conference. Thank You for coming here. I brought my recently saved niece. It was her first experience of corporate worship, and, the first anniversary of her mother’s death. She told me that she has hope for the future for the first time.
You did not tell us how to get into a friend’s business who was cheating on her husband.
My friend is cheating on her husband, and uses me as an alibi. I have always been a “mind my own business” kind of girl. Please help me, What should I do? I am friends with her AND her husband.

Beth, I cannot express my feelings from seeing/hearing you in New Orleans last night and this morning,, I live in Mississippi and drove down twice,,, clearly worth both trips. I had gotten off work early to get there and thinking I hope for just one thing to help me deal with a situation with my mother. After only five minutes of speaking ,, I thought, My God ,, ,you are here and talking to me …. I had this huge over whelming gus of excitement, and even now my head is spinning of worship music that I cannot remember all of the songs.. but singing all the same. I had a wonderful woman pray with me at the break, and as if I had any doubt left that the Arena was exactly where I was meant to be this weekend. She spoke the absolute truth ,,, reminding me that God does not hold me blame for family actions and reactions. And of the strong power that I do hold inside of me and it was time for me to speak the truth…. I still have not taken my wrist band off. That is a reminder of the power that God has to work through others. I hope I have not rambled on, and made some sense of how much I was blessed being with the body of Christ.

    Sweet Sleep for you tonight.

    Beth,
Thank you for allowing Jesus to speak to me through you today in New Orleans. I booked this trip in February because I thought it would be a great way to explore my faith as a new Christian. What I didn’t realize was how much He loves me. He knew how much I would need to hear what you had to say. You see my mother was VERY recently diagnosed with cancer and I found out 10 minutes before I left to drive to New Orleans that she will have to have a mastecomy.

Thank you for your words, they touched my spirit, which flowed to my soul and out to my body.

    Beth,
I had one Jesus sighting after another this weekend. The GA’s (Girls in Action) from my church and their leaders went to the Baptist Children’s home in Monticello, AR. We loaded onto the bus friday afternoon and drove almost five hours to reach Monticello. The next morning we went to the home where the girls worked pulling weeds from the flower beds and raked leaves. They worked an hour and played an hour, etc. They had a ball working and playing along side the kids at the home. Many new friendships were established. We listened to the history of the home and were given a tour. The girls were able to present the children with a $3000 check they raised at the annual GA pancake breakfast.
I do not know who received the greater blessing. Beth, since you raised two girls I am sure you understand what I mean when I say it was a wild and glorious weekend.

How awesome that 50 precious women were able to attend LPL in New Orleans. God so good.

    Have a great week!

I am so blessed to have been at the Arena this weekend. I was hoping for one something to help with a issue with a family member, and after 10 minutes, I new I was meant to be there. During the break, a wonderful lady from LA prayed for me and my family member, she new exactly what I needed. I came home singing the praise songs,,, cannot remember all the words,, but still singing. Your energy is very contagious. The two days went so quickly,,, I have been praying constantly for the strength to do what is needed. I only want the best for everyone… God’s best.
