Thank you Debra for giving us a glimpse into all the fun y’all had…Sure wish I had a private jet so I could have “jaunted on over” from Mississippi to hear Beth. It would have been so worth it.

First of all, I love me some Debra. She has an EYE for photography and a huge heart!

Secondly, words can’t even express how much I enjoyed, learned, took away, and was changed by this study. My heart is overflowing with such a love for Him. Truly. I think it’s safe to say that everything we learned is overwhelming and will keep us on our toes! Thank you, Mrs. Beth, for all that you do to bring us a word. You are my forever favorite and I so appreciate you and just stinkin’ love you!

And lastly, um, I don’t really know how to say this, but I think us single girls are gonna need some more stats on your homeboy that wrote the letter you read last night. Can we say absolutely precious? Needless to say, if you feel the need to be “teacher” and “matchmaker” you have a homegirl who is completely okay with that. 😉

    Love!

Hey girls…just wondering if anyone can help me out with something…our bible study watched session 6 of the Esther study last night, and Beth kept saying “GP” to the group. Like asking the GP if they were still with her, etc. We are just all so curious to know what is “GP”? The video doesn’t tell us. If anyone knows…please help solve our curiosity. Thanks! Love to all!

My heart keeps singing, “Open Up the Sky” – didn’t we feel that each week?!! This week was so tender and we walked out with such joy, happiness, and confidence. Last Tuesday my buddy and I walked out utterly amazed and speechless – of course, we recovered once we got to the car and re-ran the whole session between FBC and dropping her off. Glory to God for this study – after San Antonio we were yearning for more – thank you, thank you, thank you.

Beth and staff, the Volunteer reception was so much fun and more than delicious. The fellowship was as sweet as the sundaes! Now that’s some really something!

I have my beautiful new heiress notepad all ready and I will see you Friday night in Nashville!! (We’re about halfway there now.)

    Love all of you dearly.

    Beth,

I am in prayer for you as you minister to these PRECIOUS PRECIOUS servants this weekend. This is very dear to my heart as I have a best friend that is a pastor’s wife. I can’t explain how much she endures and does. Her perserverance amazes me.

    Very Sincerely,

Thank you for sharing! Oh, how I wish I lived in Houston; so I could attend Tuesday night bible study with all my fellow siestas. I love my sistas in MN, but it is my prayer that we can some day move to Houston to be closer to family there. The “icing on the cake” would be the Tuesday bible study.

I praise the LORD frequently for this blog!

    Blessings to all,

Thank you for the wonderful video, Debra~

By the way, I used to feel the same way during Miss Beth’s studies. I could tell that it must have been the Power of the Holy Spirit working through her that made it feel as if she was speaking “directly to me” even in a group of 3,000 + women when I used to live in Houston, prior to June 2004. That was when the Lord called me away from there, to return to my Home state of Wisconsin.

However, while I was still living in Houston, I was very blessed to have been able to take part in 3 live semester Bible studies with our dear Miss Beth, and 1-1/2 years of Sunday School classes with her. And, yes, I miss hearing her studies live/in person, but I still feel the Lord speaking through her when I am able to purchase cds, and her Bible studies on cd sets, along with the member books, and work through them with the Lord, Miss Beth and myself.

Unfortunately, though, the Christian ladies in my area seem to be rather set in their ways, and have difficulty even considering doing one of Beth’s wonderful “in-depth studies” as a group thus far. So, I guess I will have to wait until the Lord guides them, as I have offered to facilitate at least one of Miss Beth’s studies at the churches where God has led me to attend, but I guess the timing is not quite “right” yet…

Also, Houston area Siestas, there may be another reason why you feel so loved and cared about during Miss Beth’s live studies. Each and every row in that beautiful sanctuary [although I have only seen the old one], has been prayed over by someone from the LPM prayer team beforehand. And, the only reason I know about that is because I was blessed to take part in being on that team for a while. And, even doing that was extremely powerful and calming to my Spirit, and it tended to help me be much more ready to learn from God’s Word, as peace seems to flow through me in particular when I find myself praying over someone, and these Bible studies.

And, I usually for Miss Beth and Y’all on Tuesday afternoons when I know that a Bible study is going to be taking place that night down there.

And, I have to quote Miss Beth here, in stating that I am “living proof” that studying God’s Word like that really does work to save one’s soul; literally speaking. I had done her Believing God study online, then, feeling as if I couldn’t get enough of learning from His Word, the moment I found out that she has these studies most semesters there, I made plans to drive the hour and a half to get from the school where I used to teach at just to take part in the live studies that came along next. And, that just happened to be her Beloved Disciple study, and I am So glad that I “caught that Bible study Fever”. And, the result of this for me, personally is what happened to me in April 2003, when the Holy Spirit finally helped me realize that I needed to search for someone who could tell me what was/is so different about our dear Miss Beth. And, I found out that I had “head knowledge of Jesus”, but I did not truly “know Him” in my heart. And, Miss Beth had accepted Christ Jesus as her personal Lord and Savior as a young child; then she allowed Him to strengthen and teach her so that she can write and teach these precious Bible studies. And, even though I was raised going to church, and enjoyed going there most of the time, I did not understand that I needed to invite Jesus into my heart and take over my life~

And, having done so has not only helped me ‘know that I know’ that I will one day go to Heaven, but I know that the Holy Spirit of God lives inside of me now, and all I need to do is to call out His name [verbally or non-verbally], and He will comfort me, teach me, etc, etc. Salvation in Jesus Christ is indeed THE very BEST thing that has EVER happened to me… Praise God !

I am so thankful to you, Beth, to Jennifer, and to the entire LP team that devote Tuesdays to changing lives. Even amid the birth of your granddaughter on a Tuesday, you never missed a beat. Well done, and may blessing be returned to you a hundredfold, as much as your earthly frames can bear, then save the rest for your great heavenly inheritances. Hope you have some time off planned for a well-earned rest. Love you guys, Annette

Okay, I’ve tried to think of another word but I can’t. I am jealous over the property deed, meaning I wish I had one. Yes, I know I have an inheritance, but don’t underestimate the power of visuals, because, sometimes when you really need it and don’t even think about it, there it is and you remember.

I took a class last year at my church in WV and the teacher gave us glass (plastic) Cinderella slippers. Oh, how I love that thing. Every time I look at it, in an unexpecting glance, it will catch my eye and I think “I AM a princess!”

Okay, I’ll be at the next study, Septmeber 8th-God-willing!
