Back at Hotel

Hey, Siestas! It’s nearly 10:00 PM Eastern time and I just got back to my hotel room. The group was wonderful. Thank you for praying! I wish so much I’d had more time to get to know them. I’m the slightest downcast because I threw too much into one night. I was really excited about the lesson but, as it turns out, it was better before I gave it. I hate when that happens. BUT, I love Jesus and I loved that gathering of people tonight in Burlington, Vermont, and I know He was there. I think I remedied the fact that we’d only be there for one session by doing three sessions of material in an hour and a half. Perhaps it was the time line I did from Genesis to Revelation that put us over the edge. Blast.

Still, God is faithful and His Word was spoken and He won’t let it return void. Keep praying for me! I need to adjust IMMEDIATELY to material that is suitable for one session and one setting. And pray for the precious people we will serve this week. We are so happy to be here!

I want to stop and pray for you right now, too.

My faithful Father, Maker of Heaven and Earth, Ruler of Land and Sea, I lift Your elect to You. I pray this week for You to grant them clarity in a very specific area where they are confused and not sure what to do next. As You said through Your prophet Ezekiel, You have put Your Spirit in them and You will MOVE them to follow Your will. Remind them that they are not stuck. Not without choices. Not without leadership. Whisper in each ear, “this is the way, walk ye in it.” Cause them – and me – to cease beating on doors that are closed and walk through the one that You Yourself left open even if it’s not our personal favorite Door #1. Bring confessions to their lips – and mine – of Your gracious providence and Your worthiness to be trusted and praised. Tend to their hearts. Where they feel battered and bruised but too busy to stop long enough to be healed, hem them in Your faithful hands, hold them still, and rejoice over them with singing. Tell them again how You love them. How You’ve called them. How You don’t make mistakes. Grant them – and me – spirits of wisdom and revelation that we may know You better and recognize You when we bump smack into Your Presence. And more than anything else, circumcise our hearts to love You and to love that frustrating person in our lives as we love ourselves. Teach us what the Apostle Paul meant when he told the Galatians that all that matters is faith expressing itself in love. We want to be Godly women, Lord. We cry out to You for help. We cry out to You for You.

In the saving, delivering, empowering Name of Jesus,
Amen

I’ll talk to you tomorrow, Siestas!

    Dear Beth,

I was In Burlington last night and saw you and your amazing worship team. I get chills just thinking of all the beautiful voices around me singing In Christ Alone….I am so blessed.

Anyway, last night was special because while I have seen you live in the past and on simulcast and have done your bible studies; this would be the first time I would bring my daughter, who is 11. She wanted to go soooooo bad and I couldn’t wait to take her. She couldn’t wait to put a face to the lady who she has heard on DVD countless times in the car.

The whole experience was a blessing and we had an amazing time together.

Thank you for taking the time to come up here to New England and bring some encouragement and a time to enjoy being in fellowship with other sisters in Christ!!!

What a great God we worship and glorify!!!!

    Blessings,

    Beth,
Thank you so much for that prayer….I am in a place where I need so desperately to hear the voice of my Dad and choose only his direction. That prayer was just what I needed today. Bless you and your ministry.

Spiritual Mom Beth, don’t be downcast:) I know that God can provide for you more material than you know what to do with:) Josh. 1:6-9(AMP), Phil. 4:13:) You don’t know what it means to me for you to pray for me, us all. I am definitely praying for you:) He is our Counselor, when we don’t know how in the world to cope and function. He is Trustworthy and Sovereign. Yes, faith expressing itself in love. Yes, I want to be a godly woman! Desperately! It’s what I want! To be completely His-everything, every part, esp. my mind! I pray that you have an extremely amazing night tonight, Spiritual Mom Beth. I’ll be working but I’ll be thinking about you all:)

Wow….thank you for your prayer. Seemingly just for me. Tears were literally shooting out of my eyes. I want to be a godly woman. I really do. Sometimes, though, I just don’t know exactly what that looks like. That’s where the clarity and wisdom come in.
I, in turn, will continue to pray for you. That you will be able to condense tonight’s session without losing the message that God is asking you to convey. And also, I will not neglect to pray for your hair.

I am praying for you. I am sure while as you say you overwhelmed them with to much material, if they are anything like the women I went to SA with, they were ever so grateful to you for your teaching and all that they learned. Thanks for the prayer, it is much needed. Kim B. in AZ

    THANK YOU!
Your posting is a response to me to a prayer I asked of God this morning, and I thank you for delivering His Word, His presence, to me. You have prayed over a very specific need in my home right now that is bringing me to my knees more than anything ever has!!
I am so thankful for LPM and for you Beth. May you be blessed this weekend as you speak forth His Word.

Beth, I could never ever I mean ever explain to you the power of the prayer you prayed in this blog. Every word was Holy Spirit filled and although I know it was not just for my loved one, it could not have been more fitting.
God gave you every word in that prayer. Thank you for yielding to Him daily.
    I love you so much.

Thank you so much for that prayer. Satan was really starting a fight with me yesterday in worrying about our financial situation. He was also trying to keep me from starting a women’s bible study (Breaking Free) at the church we are currently attending. BUT, I am glad to say he did NOT win. I have always truly believed the Lord wants to do something big with my life…still not sure what it is but when the Lord speaks through you, (i think I have been to 4 or 5 of your conferences) I feel the Lord spark that flame in me. I pray that I will be steadfast to follow him through. Thanks again!

Thank you for praying, for not being so overwhelmed with your mission that you forget about us and ours (I think I would)…

Father in Heaven, thank for the family we have here on earth, and for giving us Your Word. Pour an extra measure out for Beth, we love her so don’t we? In Jesus Name, Amen and Amen

    Sweet Siesta Mama,

How I wish you could be on the receiving end of the word/Word you bring to us through each Living Proof event, Bible study, video/TV session. You are an anointed vessel poured out for the Lord’s glory. Oh, we know you are not perfect, but I have YET to hear from you and not walk away hugely impacted by the Holy Spirit’s whispers – sometimes shouts! – through you, the Lord’s servant.

I sometimes hear you say you wish something had come out of your mouth differently, but speaking for myself and I’m sure many others…YHWH breathes life on us through the words He gives you to bring to us.

Be encouraged and know you are loved and so appreciated!

Happy Birthday Amanda! My 7 year old Jackson’s b-day was Oct. 12th and he lost both of his top front teeth over the weekend! A true snaggletooth now! October birthdays are fantastic!

Thank you so much for the prayer. As I read it this morning in my classroom while waiting for my 3rd graders to arrive, the Lord brought tears to my eyes. I needed that prayer this morning. My husband and I are trying to make the decision to end the journey of infertility we’ve been on for the last 3 years and begin the process of adopting. We really don’t know what to do and we are asking the Lord to make His will clear to us. You are such a blessing!

The Holy Spirit is a consuming fire in you, yes He is! Fires BLAZE and I know He is blazing in you! All those women are experiencing Christ in a way they never have before after your night of teaching. May God bless you and your team as you set women on fire for Jesus.

Father in heaven, so many are without hope in our nation and in our world. In Jeremiah, Judah and Jerusalem said “There is no hope.” And then they continued to sin against you. Oh, Father, we do have hope! You are our HOPE! Bless Beth and her team as they spread Your message of hope. In Jesus Name. Amen.

Oh, Beth, what an answer to prayer, that your prayer was. I am going to the CT night and was going to cancel. The last time you were in NY, back in ’05 I was so blessed. I faced a season after that conference that was as dark as they come. We lost a lot then, but I held on to the WORD and rested in the scriptures you spoke over us. It was the last moment of peace I had for a long time.
Fast forward to ’08 and there have been a lot of similar things going on to that season a couple of years back. I began to rest in fear. Afraid of what He would ask of me…So I asked Him for a fleece, I specifically asked that He tell me: “This is the way, walk in it.” I popped over here to just to take a look, pretty sure I was not going to CT. Then I read that prayer. I will see you in CT dear Siesta!
    Thank you,
    Mair

Ms. Beth, Thank you for your sweet prayer. I pray that one day scripture will come to me with such clarity that I can offer His word back to Him like that. I know you prefer to keep the comments short so everybody has an opportunity to respond, so I’m hoping to share a short testimony! The “No Other Gods” study from the summer is still affecting lives. I went through the study with ya’ll this summer, and now I am facilitating the study at my church in Fort Worth with 17 women. Our age range is 19 to 60+, and I am thrilled with what the Lord will do in their lives. I am so unworthy, but I have recently been reminded of my true identity in Christ. He is more than able! Thank you again for your obedience, your sensitivity to the Holy Spirit, and your outflow of love. All glory to God!

On a super sidenote…you remind me so much of my sweet mother in your writing. I am about 650 miles from her and haven’t seen her in almost one full year, so it’s fun to get a reminder of her everytime I read the blog!

This prayer of yours is what I needed to hear tonight. I have a situation that yesterday and today I have cried out to God, I dont know what to do – tell me what to do. I have no idea what to do Lord, what is the answer? Your prayer reminded me that He is not taken by surprise and He knows the answer. I have a friend that has so let sin mess up her life and now it effects her children and the Lord has placed them in front of me and He wants me to minister to them. Pray for me as I listen and do what ever it is He would have me do. I still have no clue. BUT, He does. Thanks for that prayer. Love you, Vicki

God is amazing. How would you know the very words to affirm the call and direction I walked in this week? I love HIM so! The very day you were praying this, I was surrendering fully to the ministry of counseling. I’ve had my MMFT degree for almost 2 yrs….came home afterwards to raise my newborn. Have been questioning all along when would be the time. Well….this was the week. God called, prepared in advance, and just set me STRAIGHT on the path. I saw my first client, and it was amazing the connection God allowed in that room. I KNEW He was with me!

Blessings my sister. You’ve called my bluff more than once! I’m currently leading Believing God for the 2nd time….1st time sent me back to grad school. 2nd time ushered in my calling into the profession. Finished week 7 just today!

Blessings Beth. Keep praying. We’re out here in the trenches!

Oh, thank you so much for that prayer. I am very confused about a direction that someone is encouraging me to go and I thought I knew God didn’t want me to go that direction and now I’m not sure. Maybe that was just then that He didn’t want me to, but now He does, but I had gotten the impression that never did He want me to go that direction and I’m dealing with a person that I don’t want to deal with. She seems to have taken a liking to me and I don’t like her, so please continue to pray for me. Did you get all that? Me neither. I’m just as confused as you are.
