I am always blessed when I see one of these recaps.

I know the post for malopropisms is closed, but I was away camping with my Cub Scout Pack and just had to share this one –
*When my oldest son, now 8, was about 3, he loved to watch Bear In The Big Blue House. One day the episode was about being friends and one of the characters called another a ‘copy cat.’ The lesson was that though it isn’t kind to call names, when someone ‘copies’ you, it means that they want to be like you. Shortly afterward, Braeden was in the kitchen watching his Papaw, whom he absolutely adores, refilling his coffee mug and said, Can I have some? I want to be a Coffee Cat like Papaw!”

Ooohhhh! So sweet it makes my teeth hurt!

Can’t wait for the simulcast…We are so excited!

I had just come back from a whirlwind vacation the National Down Syndrome Conference out in Boston with my husband and two special needs children. We couldn’t even find a christian radio station. My husband and I were both desperately needing touches from the Lord. Got a phone call from my dear sweet sister-in-law who wanted to go the LPL event. And as the Holy Spirit would have it, He had been speaking to me about going, but I didn’t want to say anything. With my husbands nudging and a few phone calls later, I was off again for the 4th time to meet God at a LPL conference. I stood in line with Bethany and she asked me if I felt like God had a message for me. I responded so sincerely with “You know I feel like I am going to be disciplined mightily and I am going to just have to sit back like a little child and receive it” Well needless to say she was second guessing herself in inviting me along with her when out of Beth’s mouth came the words “discipline and chastisement” Thank you for a message that needed to be said, and needed to be heard by the masses. I can’t describe how it felt to be in the Lord’s presence with such an amazing group of women. May we always understand that He is above all things and all things are under His control. Praise You Father for the ministry of Beth Moore and Living Proof. Love, Tami from South Dakota

Beth you will never know how much God has truly used your life until you are in glory with Him. Thank you so much for the fabulous time in Minneapolis. It never ceases to amaze me how God can speak through someone to so many different people with so many different lives and make it seem the message was just for you.
I just have to share one way in which God has used you. I led a group of ladies in Living Beyond Yourself and the week before the study on patience God impressed upon my heart to share a CD I have of yours called Marriage The Priority Practice of Forgiveness. I shared it with our group and one of the ladies called me and said she didn’t know why God led me to share that CD but she had gone to marriage counseling that day and had decided to divorce her husband because of something she couldn’t forgive him for. She said God touched her heart when she heard the CD and has decided to stay in her marriage and work it out. I praise God that He is so good and it just blessed my heart that she shared that with me. I hope it blesses your heart to know that God is speaking through you and changing peoples lives. Thank you so much for your obedience and thank Keith for us that he allows you to share your personal life with all of us. We love you!

    Cathy Marrero / Chicago says:

For a group of 8 women better know out in Minneapolis as the “Pink Ladies” (the shirts were a hit I see). From Chicago to drive out 7 hours was more then worth what God had for each of us out there. Everyone of us, different situations, different needs were able to come with expectancy and be filled by what God wanted and used Beth for. Beth, thank you for your obiedence that you allow God to use you to love on women and bring back a joy at times that can over flow to others. “It is or joy that will speak to other’s”, that is what you said and on Sunday service our Pastor, Dr. Angel Collazo spoke that same thing. It is our joy that will bring other’s to know and accept Christ into their lives, let know steal that joy. That was conformation for me at least and know that there are those testy’s and foe’s as well as far’s and joy’s in our lives but they are all there for a reason. The saying we had on our shirts was to show that we will always need God to pour his Perfect love into our imperfect hearts. Thank you for your obidence Beth, your worship team, your setup crew, the women in volved to put these events together because I know it takes a team to put these confrences together so thank you to all of you. The love you have for women is the same love I desire to love onto women with Christ’s love for them. God Bless, Cathy “Pink Ladies” from Chicago!

WOW, thank you for the beautiful recap. I went to the Colorado Springs event and was blown away by the moving of the Holy Spirit. Since then I have faced such opposition from the enemy and have been struggling finding His Presence, so watching this video reminded me of that wonderful weekend in CO and how much our Lord wants to squeeze our necks and lavish His unfailing love on us.

    Mrs. Beth and staff…
I’m a senior pastor’s wife in NY and I traveled to Minneapolis this past weekend (12 hrs traveling Friday and 11 hours Sat) to go to LP Live with some girlfriends from the church we pastored in WI from ‘02-‘06. (Lori gave you her husband’s newly published book “Saved by Angels” telling all she went through during “Believing God”.) On Thursday before I left, I was leading “Living Beyond Yourself” here in NY and you were teaching us about “rear guard” and the connotation about the Lord harvesting behind us as we keep walking forward, sowing in faith. I thought immediately of these ladies I was traveling to MN to be with!!! We were each individually blessed SO MUCH!!!! I pray and pray and pray for you— as you pour out yourself so that so many women can grow in Him through the Word, that you will be blessed in EVERY way and know abounding joy!
Thank You so much! Put a pic of that new German short-haired pointer pup, too! 🙂

Beth, here’s another Minnesotan who was blessed and challenged in Minneapolis. The worship was incredible and your theme “Between a Rock and a Hard Place” was so powerful and pertinent to my life right now. I want to stay shrink-wrapped to the Rock and focus on enduring hardship for the reward “later on”.

I’m so glad you have a sweet little Minnesota puppy to grow up with Queen Esther!

    Blessings,
    Lori

Beth – The video looks like it was (as usual) a very inspirational experience. Through Christ you bless so many, many lives. Whenever I am feeling a little blue, i just hop into the LPM Blog and my spirits are picked up again.
Cannot wait until you come back to the Atlanta area. When you were here in June, we were not. Love you so much.

Beth and Team, I too want to thank you SO much for coming to Mpls. This was my first time hearing you live! I sincerely hope it is not my last. We are making plans to attend the Fargo LPL next August.

I had such a great time worshipping my father with you. Thank you for being willing to do what God has called you to do. I have learned so much about the bible and about who God is through your studies. You make it SO fun (okay sometimes it is hard!) to dig into the scriptures. 🙂

My favorite moment from LPL, Mpls was when Travis was praying and he told us to call out what God has been to us in the last week. I have chills as I remember women calling out “daddy”, “comforter”, “friend”, “counselor”, “my rock”, “my strenght”…

We love you in Staples, MN!! Can’t wait to start another one of your studies!

I also had the opportunity to be in Minneapolis last weekend. I’m a missionary in Mozambique on furlough on Louisiana but was able to fly to Minneapolis to attend LPL and visit with a precious friend who lives there. It was so meaningful for the two of us to attend together. God used you, Beth, to speak to my heart. Thank you so much.

    Beth-
Minneapolis was a blast! I was invited by a group of 9 ladies who ended up with an extra ticket at the last minute. I felt extremly fortunate to have been there and spent a lot of time reflecting on what God wanted me to hear. I believe that He wanted me to hear that before I can be filled up, I must empty myself–I must pour it all out to God. I haven’t been doing that. Instead I have been asking Him to fill me up while hanging on to everything. I also believe that God wanted me to hear that I can’t pull away from people. I have been guilty of that for so long now that it has begun to seem normal.

There was also a woman in our group who is in the midst of a huge battle with satan and she truly is in between a rock and a hard place. Your message ministered to her in a profound way this weekend. Praise God for that!

    Siestas,
Those of you in the San Diego area… I need your help. My son is in your area and he is in need of a church family. I’m across the country and am not familiar with the area. He is from a very small town and a close-knit church family. He will be there for the next few years and has been looking for some place close where he can attend worship services, and maybe get involved. I’m not sure how you can get the info to me but maybe someone can help out with this. Many of you are mothers and you know what a comfort this would be for me to know that he’s being taken care of by brothers and sisters in Christ.

    Beth & Amanda,
Praying you're out of harm's way with Hurricane Dolly. I feel silly to admit that until last night, I didn't realize Texas was bordered by the ocean (thought it was all Mexico). I had always envisioned Houston to be somewhere smack in the middle of the state. I was further shocked to learn it isn't all that far from the coast.
Had you on my heart and just wanted to check in…

    Blessings,
    Tracy

    Julie says:

WOW. What can I possibly say about this event other than “HALLELUJAH”! Beth, thank you so much for listening to God. Thank you for speaking through the power of His spirit. Thank you for bravely and genuinely speaking the truth in love.

God has blessed me beyond belief through many of your Bible studies. This event was no exception. I’ve really felt ready to be done with chastisement and endurance for SOME TIME NOW but your message gave me such hope. Such glorious hope to HANG ON FOR DEAR LIFE for this LITTLE WHILE.

I’ve been rocked back into the reality of my hard place this week. I am hanging on for dear life, sister-friend. Throwing myself in the Word more than usual this week. And I am so very thankful for the encouragement God delivered through you this weekend.

I’m praying that He continues to give you much passion for Him and His word. May He bless you like crazy!!!!

    Deb says:

The Conference in Mpls was such a blessing!
A group of 10 of us women have recently been released from bondage by the mercy and grace of God, and a study by you, Beth, was one of the first messages of truth we some of us heard, and it just blessed us beyond belief!
    That was why it was so sweet to be able to attend in the Target Center this past weekend;
the outpouring of the Holy Spirit was something we won’t forget, ever.
Thank you, Beth, for your faithfulness to our Lord!

  33. 83
    Lori C. says:

WOW..what a gathering…I never knew there were so many Christian women in Minnesota and I don’t know them!God had Beth bring IT! to the Twin cities and I am so glad God uses her to speak to our hearts so well. The worship was almost more than I could handle and I felt those sweet voices going up to the heavens and I felt like the roof was going to blow. Thanks to all of the wonderful volunteers.. especially the wonderful women who believed that my ticket was lost and gave me a wristband and said “enjoy”. I am so grateful to be in God’s family.

    Lisa B. says:

Beth–thank you so much for hugging and talking to my daughter, Anna (age 10). She is shown at the end of the video. This was our second Living Proof event that we’ve attended together. She has been a child that I’ve for so long felt guilty over in that she has to bear much of the consequence for my sin. But I’m able to see how much she loves God and that she truly has a heart that seeks him. I am blessed that God has allowed me to see glimpes of how he has redeemed the both of us–we are his! Anna was a bit taken aback as we were leaving since many of the ladies were saying “hi Anna” to her and wanting to give her a hug too! She said, ” I guess this is what it’s like to be famous”. She also said, “I wish Beth could have given you a hug too, Mom.”

  37. 87
    judyw says:

The girl you are hugging at the end of the video is my granddaughter. Just wanted you to know that she is in the long line of Christian women starting at least five generations ago with her great great grandmother. None of us has had it easy but with Jesus in our lives we have what we need and what it takes to shine for Him in this world. Thank you for your part in all of this. Love to all JudyW

Amazing song to lead my heart into worshipping my Beloved.

Does anyone know the title of this song by Travis?

  42. 92
    taralynn819 says:

Oh shoot! I totally missed the Malapropism post! My husband and I are a little frightened that when we have kids, they will get tortured at school for not knowing how to speak right! We’re always saying words wrong on purpose.

Sketti (Spaghetti) Maters (tomatoes), seril (cereal), winder (window), destructions (instructions, though that one’s classic), yogi (yogurt), erc. I guess we like food!

A former pastor of mine used to mix up words in his sermons and not catch himself. No one but my brother and myself caught “Birth’s Christ” (Christ’s birth). The repeat offender, though, was his infamous “Lazareth” (for Lazaras). I think he thinks it’s spelled that way! We just found thes endearing, but they did distract us sometimes because we couldn’t help but laugh. Espeically on “birth’s Christ”!

Thank you for the video. It allowed me to share a piece of my life with my man. I am still filled with the Spirit. Will you be posting the commissioning on the blog?

I would LOVE to live in Houston. As I get older, I am liking the heat and not as fond of the bone-chilling temps and snow. We also have family in Houston area (League City, Pearland, Wilchester neighborhood and Cold Spring). I pray that it is God’s will to bring us to Texas soon.

Beth- Thank you so much for coming to Minneapolis!! It was the first time I had heard you speak in person and you are hilarious! I came with a group of women-some who had never done any of your bible studies and they all felt like you could be their close friend :).
But more importantly, the presence of God was there and I learned a lot. I still have the visual in my mind of the man cutting his arm off and the flattened squirrel who couldn’t make up his mind which way to go :). Hebrews 10:35-39 really spoke to me. The worship time was amazing- to be surrounded by all those women singing “In Christ Alone”- wow!

For those wondering, Travis Cottrell sings the song on the video recap and its called “2000 years”.

Can’t wait for the pictures of your husband’s new dog!
