Currently taking Breaking Free (the VHS version) Just finished session 8. The video tape has been viewed so many times now the picture skips and we watched Beth Moore like the "olden days" with 3 channels & an antenna. (the picture kept skipping)-our church is investing in the new version when released. We have said through this series with our "technical difficulties" that hair styles may change, fashion may change, technology may change-but not the message.

    Beth,
I want to thank your for your message tonight! You shared about a woman who had lost her husband and felt like God couldn’t really do any to help her. “God could only do so much.” You looked right into my face, eye to eye, and said He is enough for me. I you only knew that my stronghold is grief over the loss of my husband two years ago.

I just finished “Stepping Up” and broke into tears for the glorious journey and changes that have come about in my ralationship with my great savior. I saw Beth in Minneapolis, MN this past July and I am ecstatic that she will be in Fargo this summer. I will be doing her Esther study with my group starting in January and wish it was beginning today. God is leading me to use this “off” time from the group study to begin “David 90 Days With A Heart Like His”. I did “Jesus 90 days With The One and Only” this last spring, it was the most life changing study I have ever done. I have added John and David to my collection and have been waiting for God to lead me to begin my next 90 days. What an amazing journey that God leads me on and how blessed we are as women to have such a wonderful woman of God to lead us. Thank you Beth and may God bless you and all your paths on the journey to meet your savior face to face.
    I Love You,
    Julie

    Beth,

Please know I am praying for you during your tapings this week. You are an amazing servant of our Father and I know He provides your every need. I know that you can’t answer me directly, but I’ve pondered over this question since last Sunday night when I gave my “faith journey” talk to our small group at church. We take turns as couples introducing ourselves and then telling about our life with Jesus. Well Beth, I’m 45 and have overcome a tumultuous childhood (really raised myself) and have dealt with all that pain in counseling. I gave a generic recap of my childhood much like you do when you reference your upbringing, but then the tears began to flow. I got choked up several time. My poor husband interceded for me and would add some of our fun stories of dating. So, I just wondered why my tears still come. Have I not dealt with my past enough or is it that I so rarely talk about it, it just comes upon me when I recall it all? You do such a tremendous job of sharing your faith with such conviction and showing the blessing that have come from ashes. I want to be there to. I stay in God’s word constantly and enjoy Bible study groups so much. God has blessed me beyond measure with a beautiful marriage and home (not perfect but a far cry from where I came from). I want to get to the place of where He has brough me is the focus not the tears from the brokenness. Just wondering how you manage that balance here in Atlanta. My husband keep urging me to teach God’s word. Me? Not adequate by any means. Love you and I’m praying for you.

Beth, my husband and I were among the large group visiting your church on Sunday morning and appointed Tuesday night. What a blessing! I thank the Lord for the ministry for which He’s appointed you and your staff — exhorting women all over the world to fall in love with His word. Our time worshipping in the Body at FBC Houston will be a memory we’ll long remember.

My husband and I went to an IMB appointment conference this past spring. I wept as I listened to each individual and couple’s stories of how God had plucked them from the safe and familiar and called them overseas. God also used it to confirm His call over our lives to go. Now we wait expectantly and ready!

    Amanda,
I am just catching up on my blogging favorites after a week of travel.

I just wanted to say that it was such a blessing to see you and your Mom in Houston!
I have now learned that there IS something tougher for a speaker than being the first one after lunch. It is being the first speaker after lunch when the luncheon KEYNOTE is Beth Moore!!

Seriously, FBCH is such a friendly church and was a wonderful experience!! (You can however, keep that Monday weather on your side of the Gulf!! 🙂

I am still praying for your Mom in NO! and the fun day seeing her new G-Daughter that will follow! There is nothing like it!!
    Bless you!

I pray for Beth always. I was fortunate enough to be at the SBTC meeting and the lunch she spoke. You know, she may be little but she is mighty. I came home and told some of our church ladies I “had lunch ” with Beth Moore and they nearly mobbed me. What an event! God uses her at the right place at the right time.

I was wondering if there was a copy of the commission given at the end of week 10? I would love to have a copy for the ladies to keep.
