Simply Amazing! Love that song – how powerful!! Loved to see all the women worshipping our Father – so wish I could have been there. I’m trying to work it out to attend the Atlanta conference. I’ve never been before but would LOVE to be there. Please pray that all will work out if this is HIS will.

Beth – thank you for letting our Holy God use you to speak to so many. I echo one of the siestas -Your excitement for the Lord made me want to know Him more – to pray to love Him more. Oh He answered alright!! He is always faithful.

Siesta Bet – praying that you will have 25 plus women at the simulcast. Also praying for revival among the women there at your church and town.

Why weren’t you allowed to talk about anything Beth said while you were waiting in the parking lot garage line??? How in the world!! The only time I have ever attended, we spent most of the night talking all about what she had said, and what we had learned and on and on and on.

Exactly!! my little annonymous siesta! It was SO hard! but she wanted us to take all that we had inside of us to our Creator. To take all that He had given us that night and give it right back to Him! It was a beautiful exchange! One that I wouldn’t change for anything! By the time I got to where I could journal and pray I was just bursting! Then on Saturday she released us to share with whoever we wanted to…but God got the first fruits of it all..it was awesome!

It was such an annointing! I had to comment on your comment! because while there I saw the drummer lifting his hands and was so blessed by it, and then was blessed to see they had captured that moment! and then you commented on it also! God is so good! At the time I thought what a strange thing to notice, but it really touched my heart!

What an encouragement to read all the sweet siesta’s comments today! Blessings to you all!

Saw you in Denver, San Diego, and soon to be taking my mom for her 60th Bday to our hometown San Antonio, TX! Never have worshiped like I did when Travis sang ‘Solid rock’! I FEEL YOU GOD!

Praise the Lord for the words of this song, of the Psalm! And praise the Lord for Travis’ voice that gives me goose bumps!

How I pray that the San Diego LPL event went well and that many left forever changed…

Call me crazy, but I have played this over and over for the past hour just to hear the song…today has literally been one of the hardest days of my college semester just because there is a lot going on and I had a breakdown. But this song filled my soul…as I sit and watch the SNOW fall in Boone, NC (it was in the 70s just 4 days ago) I thank God that I can cry to Him, that He is my Rock when everything else is shaky. 🙂
Oh, and I am jealous that he sang this at the wedding… HA can he sing it at mine? 😛

    Sheltered in His Arms,

    Dearest Beth,
As I walked into the arena in San Diego on Friday night I was praying for your fervently. I was thinking how daunting it must be to be responsible for a message to 9,000 women! I prayed that God would SPEAK through you – His mouthpiece. He did not disappoint as you were amazing and transparent. Thank you for being you and being such a servant.

Travis you are anointed. Such a talented young man – thank you for using your talents for the Lord and to bless us.

Thank you for allowing us to be a part of your ministry through prayer!

I look at the pictures of genuine worship on the faces of those beautiful believers! All I can think is “unveiled faces” when I see their expressions.

I thank GOD for all of you from the guy who took the photos, to Travis for bringing them before HIS throne in authentic worship and praise. For Beth and her obedience to her calling and to all of her family from Keith to Jackson, for sharing her.

You share her so she can share HIM and HIS love, forgiveness and freedom with all of us. Beth proves the point over and over that a captive who has found HIS only freedom in Christ cannot bear to see someone else in bondage.

    Love and Blessings,

    Karol says:

Thank you for coming to San Diego! I absolutely love the worship — I can sing my lungs out to my LORD and not have to worry about offending anyone cause no one can hear me but Him!!

My girlfriends and I had a hard time not talking about the lesson the first night as we were ‘hemmed’ in on all sides in the parking garage and a car’s headlights from an upper level were beaming right into our cabin like a spotlight from a Dateline Report so we were keeping our mouths shut! Finally, we resolved that while we waited in the parking garage we could each take turns praying to God about the evening…out loud. = )

Also, thank you Beth, for your courage to follow Jesus’leading on your life – He’s used your willingness to be vulnerable and your willingness to show us how you find Him and talk to Him so that we could find Him for ourselves, too! He’s so approachable and He’s got such a good sense of humor!

I had an “Auto-Beth-igraphical” moment in San Diego. It was my truth and it needed to become part of my story — I just needed God to use the awesome audaciousness of Beth to proclaim it. I always thought the ugly, mean self-loather was part of me…but I asked God to have that same conversation with me (I want that God!) to go and plan the demise of that ugly, mean self-loather. Thank you for sharing that self-loathing is a sin! That you can have self-loathing and still fear God, but you cannot have self-loathing and still love God. God showed up so HUGE this weekend when He showed me that self-loathing is the enemy’s tool to get me to deny love to God. No more! Never again. Not on my watch!

God confirmed everything when I went to church on Sunday and the Pastor read from Psalm 139. I am KNOWN! And HE wants to know me!

    Love,
    your little sister

P.S. Pls come to CA more often

I’ll never forget getting to Houston’s First Baptist Church (Houston member and tues.night LP prayer team intercessor),about an hour early just so my prayer team Siesta,Pam, and I could sit front and center to hear Travis sing this song. We didn’t know if he would or not of course, bc it was relatively new and from the first measure of the song,my heart pounded intensely bc I knew what was coming. I have all his tapes and live on them. I walk to them at daybreak and God has truly gifted and anointed him with the voice an angel. Thank you Beth, for choosing Travis years ago to serve with you. God knew what He was doing when he led you to Travis. Thanks Amy for sharing him with all of us. God bless your whole family. We Love Yall in Texas! My pastor is Greg Matte, My teacher is Beth Moore, my Mentor is MaryAnn Bridgwater and my inspiration in Praise and Worship is Travis Cottrell. Could it get any better than that? That is pretty much amazing, now isn’t it?! I cannot wait until ATLANTA! A handful of my dear friends from all over the country are trying our best to meet up there. You see, we met this year through our blogs telling the stories of the babies we held for just moments before they went home to our Lord in 2007 and early 2008. Anyone who thinks God cannot use the Internet for His good just doesn’t know what she’s talking about. 😉 To think of seeing the faces for the first time and touching the hands of my sweet sisters in Christ who share this road of grief and seeking God in the midst of despair with me… at the Deeper Still conference… well, it’s almost more than I can bear. I made my way to the front to pray at the Nashville Deeper Still conference last year – just 12 weeks after my girl breathed her last at the Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital. Healing began there, in that moment, on my knees, just streets away from the place where my heart shattered in a million peaces while the peace of God loomed in the air when my girl left my arms for her Father’s. When you (Beth) spoke of holding my heart behind me and refusing to let God in while I worshipped, it was too much. You were so right. And slowly, but surely my hands have made their way from behind my way back to up in the air where they belong, praising my Maker. He is good…forevermore. 🙂

    Dear Beth,

I hope that you don’t mind my taking a familiar tone in my letter to you but I feel that I can given the tone and tenor of your Bible Studies which I’ve been so blessed to participate in.

I wanted to share with you some insight and an analogy that I believe that God provided me as I was studying with you through the Psalms of Ascent. In Week 3, Psalm 125 speaks of God as a steadfast Mountain surrounding us, encamped around his followers. I was especially touched by the story that you relayed of your trip with Keith to Africa and your visit with the Massai people as they encircled their nomatic camp with bushes of thorns to keep out the lions. Keith likened that to a circle or “crown of thorns” which God provided through Christ Jesus. I stopped in the study and simply allowed the power of that analogy to wash over me.

Being a recent “return-er” to being a faithful follower of Christ Jesus, I found great similarities within my life to that analogy. God says, as you so adeptly draw in Jeremiah 29 that He knows his plans for us, plans for hope and a future and we must simply and honestly seek and call out to him. Many times I’ve found myself “outside” of his encampment and circle of protection because I’ve gone to great lengths to “shimmy” my way through the circle of thorns which he has provided to dissuade me from leaving his protection. In my mind, literally, I see myself performing great feats of ducking, tiptoeing, dodging, rationalizing and shimmying to get through and on the unprotected side of his tightly woven circle of thorns thinking that there is something out there that I want or need.

Then once outside, I find myself having a conversation with God much like the ones I have with my daughter when she calls to me saying, “Mommy, come here…where are you?” and I reply “I’m right here, you come to me!” All too often I find myself saying to God, walking outside of his protection, “God, come here…where are you?” and he always replies “No, I am where I’ve always been, you come to me!”.

I hope that this analogy blesses you and yours as it has me. May God continue to bless you, your family and your ministry. Thank you.

    In God’s camp,

    Kris

okay, this is my first blog and i’ve been trying to get this thing to work since last night…awesome week end….the worship, the Word the women!! thanks be the God for all of you and all that took place to refresh our spirits….that Friday morning, my prayer group prayed for a week end of anointing on Beth and the team…..it was a week end of feeding my spirit…i walked away full and completely satisfied in what the Word says I am….thank you for coming to San Diego…..short note, i worked in the Lifeway bookstore, had an absolute blast….showing women which studies were available….(i want to work at Lifeway when I retire), then I had to go to the bathroom, but no time, and the line was from here to Yuma….even the guys bathroom in the back was being used by the security guards…so Brian the Lifeway manager, said I could use the bathroom in the dressing room where while you were onstage……(after he saw my face, he knew he better do something fast)…so thank you for sharing your bathroom with a sister…..blessings on you.

Beth, you truly had a word from the LORD when you told us He was going to do a mighty work in San Diego. I have seen you teach several times, each of them an amazing encounter with Jesus, but NEVER like over past w/end. I was STUNNED at the power of His Word and His huge anointing on you to deliver what He had to say. I was completely drained, speechless (that’s a big deal, girlfriends)and over and over in tears the rest of Saturday. I was worn out in the Lord! and it was a good thing!! He spoke so clearly to me in many areas and I know I was there by divine appointment. THANK YOU for coming, thank you for your faithfulness, thank you to Travis and the team for SUCH amazing, Spirit-filled worship!! I didn’t want it to end….and yet, I felt like I couldn’t take any more, it was so consuming!! Love you all!

San Diego was Awesome! But it was not what I thought it would be like. I went with my heart being in the state of a christan woman who would be blessed, and I was but not how I thought. After exchanging dialogue with my Jesus, I realized I was being blessed without blessing anyone, and in my created heart, I felt like something was missing. The women were incredible, such an incredible experience. And when the praise team (awesome) would stop singing and all I could hear with my eyes closed was the collected voices of the nine thousand+ women, making one voice, for one reason. Thank you Jesus for gentle teaching and correction in me. Beth, you and your team are a blessing and so much fun.

Dear Beth and all the LPL crew,

What a life changing weekend I experienced because of your willingness to serve Jesus. Thank you!

Beth, you said that we were there not by accident or chance, but because God wanted us to be there. That rang true in my heart as I had no means to pay for the conference, but God provided in a miraculous way. At the last minute I nearly had to cancel because my childcare fell through- but when I mentioned my weekend plans had changed, another Godly couple insisted they would be happy to care for my children so that I could go hear from the Lord. How much more intently I listened, knowing that this was a divine appointment with my Lord.

What an oasis of living water, in a dry dessert land. Just singing praise to Jesus with 9000 other women – all in my own backyard – was a tremendous encouragement to my soul. I am not alone!

The biggest impact you have made on my life is you have inspired me to intently study God’s word and to love Him unreservedly. Thank you for being a relevant example to me and countless others.

    May God bless you immensely!

    Hi Beth…
    I am requesting prayer!

I attending the Living Proof Live in San Diego. I wanted you to know what an amazing time we (several women from my church) had! We are studing the Psalms of Ascent right now at our church! Awesome study!

I wanted to share with you that I have a friend in Idaho who is going through a difficult time. She is going through the remainings of a divorce. It is that situation where as you said in San Diego, “She needed to know more details than she really needed to know.” Over the last year, I have been trying to help her through all of this and lead her to the Lord, a church in her area or to at least pick up the bible.

After going to your program, I told my husband that you were going to be in Idaho and I really wished I could take my friend. I am so blessed that my husband said GO! What is even a bigger blessing is that my friend in Idaho has agreed to go with me.

I am really excited that not only will I be blessed with seeing you and your team live twice this year, but that my friend will be coming with me.

Please pray that Father God will speak to her and she will be saved on one of those days.

Praise the Lord! I can’t wait to see you and your team again!

    God bless you all!
