Clash of the Choirs

Siestas, did you watch “Clash of the Choirs” this week??? It was one of the best things I’ve watched on television in ages! I laughed and cried and clapped my hands and stood to my feet and cheered all by my sick little self in my den. I could have watched it every night for a month. Now, THAT’S GOOD PROGRAMMING. Way to go for a change, NBC!!!

Yes, I loved the show too! My three children greatly enjoyed it. I agree with the others that it was good to have something on that the whole family could watch. Hoping you feel better soon. I pray you have a blessed Christmas and an anointed 2008! Love you!

We watched it. It was SO good! I’m hoping that they’ll run it again so people who missed it can see it. It will make you want to stand up, move and sing. Good family programming. We want more of that!
You over that sickness yet Beth?

Thank you Beth! I have been married to a choir man for 30 years. Used to be called the “choir director,” or Minister of Music, now he is praise/worship leader. During revivals in country churches he is the “song leader!” I love the Old Testament scriptures about the choirs leading out!

Hope you’re better. I’ve prayed for you to have a speedy recovery to enjoy Christmas with your family.

    Love,

It was great! and I since I have be come ‘grandmother’ to the twins that were featured at Children’s in Cincinnati, i was especially thrilled with the outcome! (sorry to the Houson crowd)

Can’t say that I saw it, but I sure wish I could of watched you watching it. That sounds just as entertaining as the show itself. My husband and I mostly watch Sci-Fi, ER, CSI, and stuff of that nature. We record it on our DVR and then argue about who gets to watch there shows first and whose shows are taking up too much space so they can’t record their shows. I know really dumb, but we’re actually really light hearted about it, racing for the remote when we get home and then of course Jeremiah cheering because dad won. Always! It’s not fair. He’s bigger than me!!!!

Yep, my fav choir won(although Houston was great too!) I told family I had to cut the celebration of my 50th birthday short on ThurDec 20th to rush home to see the winner. I was pleasantly surprised to see NBC allow programming that was spiritual…loved it!

I was so excited to hear you talk about the “Clash of the Choirs.” I had no plans to watch it and once my daughter and I started we really
loved it. I felt like it was a Christmas gift!!! It was amazing and such a surprise! Maybe it’s a reminder that the Lord is ever present and surprises us with some things we don’t even know we need!
