Bible Study, Anyone?

Good Thursday morning, ladies!

We pray all is well with you and yours this day.

Originally, we had the thought to post this on Monday, but then the big Winter Storm of 2014 blew in and kind of threw our system off kilter. We ended up posting information about Bible study instead, and the next day we hunkered down at our respective homes while the ice and snow barely reached the ground on Tuesday. Needless to say, things unexpected and unplanned for ended up swirling and here we are and it’s Thursday and I was not going to let this post go to waste.

If she comes to mind, you wouldn’t waste a prayer on Beth, or any of her family or LPM as she is preparing simultaneously for multiple teaching opportunities. Ones that have been on the calendar for well over a year, but the time is now so she’s neck deep in preparartion. I know I don’t have to tell you that she is one of the hardest workers I know which in return blesses us. We’re so grateful for your prayers and support. We love y’all so much.

So, onto Bible study! We usually don’t wait until nearly the end of January to hear from you about Bible study, but it’s better late than never, right?

Inquiring minds want to know, what Bible study are you digging into this semester? As we’ve mentioned here a few times, we just launched our Tuesday night Bible study titled: Breath: The Life of God in Us, but we want to know what you are up to?

How about we do this, tell us your name, your city and your Bible study of choice and if you’re going at it solo or with a group or leading or attending. There are countless studies out there today, so do not feel one ounce of pressure (and please do not hear us saying) that we only want to know if you’re doing a “Beth Moore” Bible study. It is our joy to hear all the different authors you are studying under!

We even want to hear from you if what you’re committed to this semester, or this year, is reading through the Bible in one year. That’s big, B I G, and we want to cheer you on and walk alongside you. Sometimes we’re not committed to something until we speak it out loud or write it down for someone else to see. A little accountability never hurt anyone!

To make it fun, I’ll go ahead and post my answer in the comments! I miss doing that!

This is short and sweet but we’ll look forward to hearing from you!

Love, love, loving it! Just about to dive into week 4 of the homework. God is really challenging me with this one. I like to do everything by my big-girl self, and don’t you know, that is not how our God operates. My weakness, His strength. It’s a hard one to learn.

Hang in there! I’ve done it 3 times and each time I get something new. I got up 30 minutes earlier in the mornings, made coffee, set the timer on my oven and read 30 minutes each day—if I didn’t quite finish, I’d read the rest in the evenings after I got home from work. If I did it today, I have YouVersion.com on my iPhone so I could read during lunch. It is so amazing when you get to the end! Do it! I’m praying for you this time!

    Jcee/jaycie/njc says:

Been extravagantly blessed to attend Beth Moore’s Bible studies and honorably privileged to serve on her prayer team–God’s merciful grace. (Never have I known anyone who works as hard as she does.) Blessed to attend Women of Faith a couple of times. Here in the past, have done four studies on my own; Jesus and me took on Priscilla Shirer, Kelly Mentor, Jack Graham, Shiela Walsh, and Duck Dynasty. As I had previously attended a few Bible studies alone, I looked forward to what Jesus was doing through those we chose for a home-study. Admit, HE is faithfully sovereign, with an oddly sence of God-humor. He was passionately consuming. However, because I mortal, I grew weary of doing Bible studies alone (humbly, graciously have mercy on me Jesus, no offense intended: You Know You are all to me), and have stopped going to them. I take in the new mercies HE brings me daily and we commune over HIS all-compassionate and gracious blessings of The God-Breathed Words He brings (some being of the wildest ride). I thank GOD for all of you who are blessed to attend Bible studies. And those of you who have friends to fellowship together in worship of His Word are wonderfully blessed and to be commended in your efforts of what you have been called to be obedient unto: May Our LORD BLOW YOUR SOCKS OFF. Those that find yourself in Christ alone, will not be shorted in the least, but prayerfully, in Jesus Name, swallowed up in the clarity of the magnitude of HIS Full Presence. The joy of the LORD is our strength. But here on this blog this evening, can’t help but presume, “The JOY” is HIS. Can’t help but think, each time HE breathes you, there’s a breath of joy; each one, moving HIM to breathe more… Of HIM in you.
All gracious GOD, bless Mrs. Beth. As she prepares, assure her YOU are ready. Be her strength and health; grace her to be a full blessing of acclaiming exaltation to Your Name and Kingdom cause. Jesus, bless each one of these, and may the riches of Your Glory restore them to bring honor and exalting praise to Your Name. If there be one lost soul, find them Jesus, and catch them.
God bless all of you. Am all grateful to God for all HE is doing in your lives! And with al humility, may I say, “I am proud of all of you.” Go with GOD!
