Thank you Beth for bringing this word to us today! What a powerful message. I am currently doing the “Unglued” bible study and just finished the chapter on negative inside chatter. Your message further emphasized the point of presenting my requests to God and following the wisdom of Paul in Phillipians 4:6-9.
Thank you for being a mighty servant of God and submittimg to what He has called you to do!
    Blessings. 🙂

Thanks for taking time out of your very busy schedule to share this wit us. I have thought some of the same types of things in recent weeks but you say it to well.

P.S. Is there any chance we could get an “update’ post from Amanda and Melissa about what is going in in their lives sometime? I know we all miss hearing from them.

Thanks for sharing this Beth! This is so good! I have to tell you when I first pressed play to watch this my 3 yr old nephew was sitting near me and after the musical interlude caught his attention he saw you and cheerfully said “hello!” to you, then did it again until I realized what he thought was that you were skyping with us. 🙂

Hey Siesta Mama Beth I had to share this with you, I read this just a few minutes ago, and it is exactly what you are talking about!

“When swelling and pride come, then emptiness and shame come also, but with the humble (those who are lowly, who have been pruned or chiseled by trial, and renounce self) are skillful and godly Wisdom and soundness.”
    Proverbs 11:2 Amplified

Feeling a little lonely today so was SO, SO lifted when I clicked on the blog and found this video. It was very ministering to me to have the actual face to see and voice to hear.. Love ya Beth.. LOVE our God that knows what we need and confirms His desires for us through others.

Thank you! I needed to hear about linear time lines…..especially as summer vacation approaches. What a revelation! I never considered how God is constantly MOVING FORWARD. Great insight! Thank you again! Looking forward to Gideon:)

Yep. That was for me. Been cycling around and around an issue and never thought Pride was my issue. (Ha! Pride kept me from seeing that.)

    Blessings,

Thank you, Beth. I appreciated the fact that you asked us to consider this message prayerfully and ask the Lord how it might apply to us. For me the cycle is unforgiveness. I have been challenged recently to forgive in the same way that I would want Jesus to forgive my own sins and shortcomings. “Forgive us our sins AS WE forgive those who sin against us.” I am constantly being challenged to let go and not hold onto “things”. This slinky picture was exactly the encouragement that I needed to apply the linear thinking. It was a clear word, Beth. Thank you!

Thank you so much for sharing this picture of the slinky and how we (or should I say I) are trapped in this repetitive motion when we need to walk on the linear path. I don’t want to get stuck and I do want to go forward! I think that being made aware is just what I needed.

Wow, what a word picture. “…cycling like a drill bit into the pit…” That describes me with an issue that constantly nips at my heels. Thank you for opening your heart to us today.

Right at the moment this optimistic gal attempts to give up and “waller” in self-pity over the stuff in my life, He shows me that He just loves me too much for that! Thanks for listening to Him and sharing!!

    Beth –
Thanks sooo much for the the message…God knew I needed to hear it TODAY even though you taped it days ago. I wasn’t ready to STOP until today.

Love you for disciplining and encouraging me! Praying for you and for me to STOP the cycle.

(going to use Psalm 5 for SSMT!!)

Beth – Thank you! Pride creeps into my thinking so easily and leads to many other sins. Once again God has used you at just the right time.
    Bless you –
