A Tuesday Hello!

Hey Y’all! We have left this blog to be silent for an entire week! Gasp!

Sometimes this blog is extremely busy, and other times, it’s eerily quiet. I know it’s past time to check-in when I start seeing comments wondering if all is okay here at LPM or with our Siesta Mama. Just know that when we say we think about you every single day, we mean it with every ounce of our being. It’s just that sometimes you have to live life instead of write about life, and both Beth and I were doing that last week. She had a much deserved and needed week off after taping for a solid week, and I got busy with a few other things at work, then had a few days off myself as some of my family from Colorado came in town. Plus, with the long Memorial Day weekend, I just wasn’t on my computer much at all. That’s just life.

Speaking of Memorial Day, I did enjoy a four day weekend after playing hooky (and by playing hooky I mean I asked for the day off) from work on Friday. A couple of my cousins who are now of college age came to Houston and on Friday we had a pool day and literally had the entire apartment pool to ourselves. It was heaven! My grandparents also tagged along, which is always a blessing, but at 85, they move at a different pace than they did 20 years ago. However, in my nearly 28 years of life, I don’t think I’ve spent one Memorial Day with my grandpa, who is a veteran. It was fun to get to be with him. He didn’t say very many words last night, but I know he had a lot to think about. I took him to a custard place near my parents house last night after dinner and he ordered a kids size vanilla with butterscotch. He told me he didn’t want to overdo it. Bless him. I got tickled but thought it was the cutest thing. He even paid for my custard. What a stellar date!

Anyway, after four days of sleeping in, playing, shopping and spending time with my family, today it was back to life, back to reality. So, that’s just a little bit about what’s been going on!

This coming weekend our dear Beth is back at it with Living Proof Live in Atlanta. Are any of you getting to attend?

We’ve been waiting to share with you that during the Greensboro LPL event, which also doubled as the 15 year celebration, LifeWay asked Rich, our amazing photographer, to create a memory book that both Beth and Travis could take home. For lack of a better term, it is stellar. (I’ve now used that word twice in this post. Overkill. But I’m keeping it. Word of the day anyone?) The book is so much more than a scrapbook! It is a representation of the past 15 years through pictures and Rich worked so hard to make it excellent. However, not only did he do that, he then went the extra mile and put it into vimeo format so we could share the book with you all. You might want to know that it’s about eight minutes long, but worth every bit of your time. So, if at any point this week you have a few minutes to spare, be blessed by this book!

Rich, thank you so much for your hard work!

15 Year Album from Rich Kalonick on Vimeo.

I think that’s all for now, but just wanted to say hi.

We love y’all and hope you have a fantastic Tuesday!

P.S. I was tempted to say terrific Tuesday simply because of the alliteration, but thought you all might make fun of me. But it’s fun nonetheless!

I am so looking to this weekend’s Living Proof Live in Atlanta:). We ended up with an extra ticket, is there any way to share it when we arrive? I hate for it to go to waste.

Lisha, they are still selling tickets at the door, so there will be women going to buy tickets. I am sure you will be able to sale/or give it away there.

      • Lisha says:

Thanks, Cheryl! I will just try to give it away on site:)

        • Tammy H. says:

Lisha, I would love the ticket. I just called to get a scholarship ticket and none are available at this time. Do you still have it?

          • Tammy H. says:

Nevermind, they called with me a ticket! Thank you anyway! Cant’ wait for tonight!

In the words of my one year old… “OH WOW OH WOW OH WOW” I’m sitting here with tears streaming down my face. That song is PERFECT for this video. Though I have never seen Beth or Travis “live” (unless simulcast counts;) I have been CHANGED through the words and songs that god has anointed BOTH of you with- and for that I.AM.GRATEFUL. The pictures “speak” of healing and praise & a community that is SO MUCH BIGGER than I’m sure ANYONE ever imagined. THANKS BE TO OUR GOD!!!!!

Beautifully said Alicia. You wrote exactly what I was thinking! Tears flowing here too. Can’t wait to be in Heaven and experience a non-stop LPL event. And we can ALL hug Beth’s neck as much as we want…and tell her how she ministered the love and grace of God to us all!

    Lindsee,

I’m so glad you were able to get some things done around the office and take some time off to rest and play with your family. (YOU DESERVE IT!) You do such a phenomenal job of keeping us all in the loop here in Siestaville… A few days off are well deserved and earned.

As for Siesta Mama… She too is well deserving of time off! Precious you all are to us. It was so fun and meaningful and fun to see the memory book video… If only for all the transformations of Beth Moore’s Hair! ๐Ÿ™‚ Love it. I even saw myself in one of the Siesta group photos from the San Antonio Siesta Fiesta in 2008!

Thank you for sharing yourself and all the shenanigans at LPM with us on a regular basis. We love you bunches!

    Blessings,
    M

Lindsee: YES, I will be there this weekend – it is in GEORGIA, my blessed home state you know! ๐Ÿ™‚ I can’t wait – I’ve been blessed to serve on the planning team and these ladies have had some awesome ideas and are a mighty powerful praying bunch of women. I’m also bringing 76 women from my home church in middle Georgia. Woo-Hoo!

WOW – I loved the video scrapbook. Rich is so talented, what a treasure this will be to y’all for years to come. I even spotted the picture of Beth and me that Rich took at the “Siesta Fiesta” in San Antonio back in 2008. What a sweet memory. I love that he caught that moment. I remember standing by Melissa in our group photo, and we struck up a conversation and then connected later while she lived in ATL. God is so good!

And the pink boxing gloves from the Pastor’s Wives LPL in TN. That was a tremendous weekend that marked me forever.

Thank you Living Proof staff for all you do for us women!

    Love, GJ

PS: And I love that Rich set the video scrapbook to MY FAVORITE SONG – “Thanks Be To Our God.” That song is anointed and blesses me every.single.time. I listen to it – which is often.

What an amazing trip down memory lane.

What a Blessed ministry for both!

Those pictures were like I was apart of it all, would have loved to been to each place and seen each face!

Beth & Travis have the BEST JOBS EVER!!!

Looks like all the tears, fears, work, sweat, that was apart of the effort, was made into Blessings! GOD is sooo good and making His Glory fall upon each heart.

Love the jumps for joy, you make it look so easy.

Blessed, that is all that those years brought and stood for…GOD’s Blessings! Beautiful!

Thank you for sharing with us, such tender and moving moments.

Father, You are awesome!! I just glorify your name and bow in worship before You!! Thank You Lord for the anointing you have placed on these dear people…..Beth, Travis, the Worship Team, and Rich for sharing each seminar with us. Bless all the people behind the scenes Lord that don’t get in the pictures but work so hard to deliver awesome seminars. Without You Father God none of this would be possible and I so appreciate that these people have opened themselves up to You and have allowed You to use them in whatever way You choose!! Fifteen years Lord, these sisters and brothers have laid themselves wide open for us!! I pray Lord that you will deliver a special blessing and more grace and love than they can stand on each one of them. I look forward to living in eternity with each of them Lord and thanking them in person for their devotion not only to Your service Lord, but to serving all of us!!!
In Your Son’s Holy Precious Name,

I cried watching that! I’ve never been to a LPL event however, I know how God has used Beth’s teaching to work in my life and teach me. I have a passion to know God more and crave Him every morning. What started the tears was seeing the crowd of people at these events… Over the past 15 years! Thats a Ton of people who can reach out and share the Good News with others around them! Wow! Praise God for He is SO good! Thank you Beth for being obedient to our glorious God and Father and allowing Him to speak Truth through you – may He bless you, your (His) team, and families richly with His abundant love, immeasurably more than we could ask or imagine.

Lindsee: Thank you for sharing that video! It brought tears to my eyes. I became a Christian 15 years ago, and Beth’s study Breaking Free was my first real Bible study. I saw her in person for the first time in 2008, with Kay Arthur and Priscilla Shirer….it was like being in the same room with my spiritual mamas! So thankful for LPM! God is amazing.

I am jealous! I wish Beth would come to Charlotte NC! I am so thankful for all of you. I said all of that to say, thank you thank you for allowing the Lord to use all of you! Love and Prayers!

    Denise Keeter says:

I’m so grateful to God for this ministry especially to Beth and Travis! These LPL events, Bible studies and music have kept me growing in my walk with God for ALL of these years. As a military spouse and Mom, my life has little stability and sometimes little that makes sense. As I move again and again, I always find a church who is offering a Beth Moore study…even overseas. I get plugged right in. I just finished studying the book of James. God has been so faithful to me. My desire in life is to be obedient to what he wants me to do every day and with every move. I love to serve others and I love you all. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Your efforts and work have made a huge impact on my life. May God continue to abundantly bless you all!!

    Sharron Kay Fires says:

Thanks Be To Our God! What an awesome song of praise that perfectly depicts the celebration of 15 years of LPM! I was privileged to attend one of the very first LPL in Odessa, Texas many years ago. We had no idea what we were going to experience in the Ector County Coliseum with 10,000 other women praising God! The journey has continued for me through this ministry as I’ve been able to attend other Live events and numerous simulcasts. Wonderful video documentation…especially Beth’s hair…don’t we all love it! May God continue to bless Beth, Travis, the team and all of us who join together to worship. Thanks be to our God!

  47. 47

Okay, my internet’s really spotty today, but hopefully I’ll be able to do this the first try. I finally got to watch the video and it brought back sooooo many memories! Especially the shorter, straighter hair from 2005. That still disturbs me. I remember that conference. I was like, “Alright, who is this woman and what did they do with Beth?” She’s back to normal and that’s a GOOD thing!
