LPL Phoenix – Recap Video

Well, I think we all know by now that typically, a Siesta ticket giveaway post is followed by the recap video. They’re just too fun not to share! Don’t you agree?

(Also, I’ll have you know that just before I pressed “Publish” I realized I spelled Phoenix with the e before the o in the title. Pheonix. How embarrassing would that have been? Bless my heart.)

Our friend and amazing photographer, Rich, burned the midnight oil to get this done for us by today. We are so grateful. And y’all, it’s rockin’. He has a gift not only for taking amazing pictures, but capturing the weekend so well in the recap videos. You get a tiny glimpse of what it may have been like if you could have been there. At this point, I think I might offer to pay him to help me perfect my craft in the small videos we make here. Grin.

Without further ado, here is the video, friends.

Oh, and while I’m here, would you pray wellness on our Beth? She came home from the event with an upper respiratory thing and we all can understand that’s no fun and has the potential to stick around longer than we want. Thanks so much, y’all!

Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful…I was following @lifeway’s twitter and picked up on the theme of scars. I was thrilled to see Gal 6:17 pop up on the screen. It is one of my memory verses: “From now on, let no one cause me trouble for I bear on my body the marks of Jesus.”
Can’t wait to see you all in Greensboro in a few weeks for a PAAAAR-TAAAAAAAY! :)
    Much love.

Ohhh!!! Tell precious Beth the only way outta this upper respiratory thing is plenty of rest! We just had our second visit by this plague this year and it is nasty. We never got on antibiotics but I can tell you we got over it best by staying in bed so “hog tie” her if you must but she needs plenty of rest!
Mercy me! I am sounding like an old mother hen which I sort of am at times!!!
    Love ya all! Betty M
Looking forward to a simular experience in SD later this year!!! Not the viral thing! The Livng Proof experience!!!

LOVE LOVE LOVE this video!!! And I even saw me and my best friend on it!! God is so good! He kept showing me signs before the conference! The first one was a street sign that said Siesta Lane! I have been down that street many times before and had not ever noticed it! That was on Thursday! I had a dream that I hugged Beth and that became a reality!! She was not feeling well afterwards, but I was like the women with the issue of blood and just had to get my hug from her anyways!! I really hope she feels better soon! I am praying for a miraculous healing from that nasty upper respiratory bug!! I realized after the dream that it could be a vision from God and I had to let it happen! If I had not had that dream I would have never insisted on that hug from her. But I dont know if I will ever get another opportunity again! So thank you Beth even though you really did not want to hug any of us! This Siesta is amazed at God by it!! One more amazing thing God did for me was on Friday night we went to a Chinese food restaurant and my fortune said” Anyone can memorize things, but the important thing is to understand it!”. Wow!! God just kept showing me He was with me! So I thought I needed to share that fortune with all you Siestas!! I will forever remember this weekend! The worship was awesome and the message was just for me! I am in Awe of Him! Thank you so much! I love you Beth!

I was blessed to be the last of the 7, graced with a scholarship to the Phoenix event. I was so blessed to be there! Thank you for the blessing as it was a gift from the Lord, having prayed if it be His will, there would be just one more ticket left for me!

The message of “Marked” was just for me. I own a branding company and was especially touched by the message for many reasons.

Thank you, Thank you, Thank you! God bless you all and may Jesus bless Beth with a fast recovery!

Don’t feel too bad about the Phoenix thing… I did the calligraphy for my sister’s wedding invitations. She has a lot of family in Phoenix… I spelled it wrong on EVERY invite I sent. *sigh.* Spelling is hard.

I am praying for Beth – first on her health and to be strengthened second – for God to place upon her the message He wants for her to speak over the crowd at Greensboro. I will be there and with at least one of my sisters. She has never been to Living Proof Live. I am excited for the experience for both of us! Love to all!

I was there!!! I have been with Beth for most of the 15 years and she never disappoints and worship with Travis is like no other. As long as God allows me and you all are in Driving distance, I will ALWAYS be there but this year was even better. I do not go to be entertained but just love hearing Beth’s unique perspective on God’s word and of course the music of Travis Cottrell. I learned on Sunday after returning home that I had pneumonia!!! Praise God, I made it through and are praying that Beth is feeling better soon as well. Keep on keeping on!!!

    Kathleen says:

I was in Phoenix and was deeply touched by the message of scars being covered by the signature of Jesus. And then, I heard Beth mention just before the session was over on Saturday that Travis is from Jackson, TN. My daughter just moved there and when I told her about it, she looked it up, found out his church was only 3 miles from her house, and attended a service this past Sunday. You just never know when our faithful God will show up!!!!

    Barb says:

My sister-in-law Marie & I were there – it was a life changing ‘event’! I’m the kind of person that has to listen over & over to things before they sink in – but this weekend, God opened my ears & eyes to understand that my wounds/scars can be His Marks & Jesus will seal them – for His Glory!! And as I began to realize what that really meant, the memory of scars that need Jesus name on them have been coming to mind! Thank you so much for being willing to be used Beth!!! It was such an honor to meet you with Colette & the other AZ Siestas that were there!! I feel truly blessed and had the best birthday ever – 60 is going to be good! :) love to you!!!

    Shawn says:

    Beth & Co. –
Thank you so much for trekking out to Phoenix! What a blessing the whole event was! The most powerful moments for me were when we read the passages of scripture out loud together, praying with a lovely woman in a pink apron and repeating words of straight up truth after you back to one or two other women! Wow! The Lord is doing a powerful work in my life by setting me free from the bondage of the scars I had submitted to. It’s great to breathe free!

What were the passages we read off the screen? Would it be possible to have the words we repeated to one another available in print? I would like to dwell on those truths.

    Thank you!

    Sara Correll says:

My daughter and I flew out from Indy to Phoenix to see Beth last weekend. Amazing, powerful, life-changing, Blessed!!! Jesus wrote His names on our scars! We are following Beth to Atlanta, Charleston, and Springfield. Travis, your music is amazing Beth, you are a gift from God. So thankful to be a part of Living Proof Live.

Lindsee, I am late watching this and yet right on time. That song and the overlaid text ministered to me this Good Friday morning. I do hope Beth is feeling much better by now, but there are healing prayers ascending anyhow.

Pretty pretty please, would you let us know when these messages become available for purchase and download at the LPM store? From that glimpse, I think they would bless me & probably other Siestas too.

May our faithful God bless y’all this especially holy weekend. May your Easter worship overflow with sincere joy.

I was there — and wish my husband could have been there with me. The message that weekend was one that he would have definitely identified with. I was wondering, will an audio version of Beth’s message be available in the near future?
