1 John 2:4 The one who says, " I have come to know Him, yet does not keep his commandments is a liar and the truth is not in him.

Beautiful and bittersweet to watch. Hurricane Sandy cancelled my flight ~ and a much-anticipated reunion with my sisters in New England ~ from Minnesota. Wonderful to see that it didn't stop so many others from attending!

I can not tell it enough how much that weekend meant to me. I was in a tremdenous battle beginning on Thursday night that began from accusations that a parent made of me as a teacher and posted it on Facebook. In my quiet time on Friday morning I told God that I needed to hear from Him for guidance in how to handle the situation. All of my scripture time and prayer time that morning were exact answers to my prayer beginning with scripture from Isaiah 30:15 "in quietness and trust is your strength" and verses 19-21. Also all of the other devotionals that I read that morning were so on target for my situation. All of the accusations centered around question 1 that our state was to vote on the following Tuesday. Thankfully,by Friday afternoon, after I was on the road to Lewiston an indepth investigation proved that the accusations were all unfounded and acutally had stemed from a conversation that some children had in the lunchroom that did not involve me at all; however, it was widespread over FB and the damage to my character was already outthere. From the time I walked into the arena and the worship music began to play God ministered to me. It was turly an amazing weekend. I just sensed that God had His mighty arms wrapped around me the entire weekend. The topping on the cake was when Beth spoke to women in the audience on Saturday morning and she talked with a woman named KIM from NH that is also a teacher and Kim said that she is just beginning her career and she is learning how careful she has to be to not bring her personal and political views into the classroom. Then Beth prayed for all the public school teachers. What are the chances of that! In a crowd of 4000 women Beth would choose a woman with the same name and career as mine, with a very similar situation and then pray for those in my profession. I truly was blessed. I am sorry this was so long but I wanted to have an opportunity to share how God took care of this Siesta that weekend. God Bless Girls. I hope there is some way that Beth and Travis have an opportunity to read this and see how God used them to minister to me on that special weekend. Thank you.
