Let’s Pray, Sisters! 1/2 Hour Livestream Today for Eastern U.S.: 11:15 AM CST

*For those of you who missed the livestream, you can watch it here. Be blessed, y’all.

Hey, beloved sisters! We had such a fun post for you today to celebrate Autumn but Melissa, Lindsee, and I agree that today is not the day. With all the chaos people are enduring over the storm, let’s get together for a half hour of prayer today instead. I know it’s last minute but we don’t have to have a mighty throng to be heard. All we need is a mighty all-glorious God inclining His ear to hear because we intercede in His Son’s powerful Name. If you can join, we’ll meet with you at 11:15 AM on the dot, CST. I love you guys!

Click this link to join us in praying.

*Important: We will remove the password on our livestream channel ten minutes prior to going live at 11:15. If you try to log in early, don’t be turned away by the password as we will take care of it after we’ve tested out our channel.Β

I have a friend who lives in Clear Spring Maryland so that brings all of this home for me. They were without power last night for awhile and had howling winds but are o.k. so far.I have a bible study this morning at 9:30 West Coast time and I
am sure we will all be saying a prayer

Hey Linds…will it be re-aired? Upset I missed it, but I know it was a sweet time! This Virginian has felt all of the sweet prayers and as the sun is trying it’s hardest to peek from the clouds here in southern VA, my heart and prayers are certainly with those still under Sandy’s clouds & in her aftermath. Love you Siestas. Have a BLESSED day, in His name!

We had our turn here in Nashville in 2010 with deep flooding. Once you get close to something, it changes how you pray for people. Please know our hearts are with you long after the media trucks pack up and return home.

Thank you for praying for us here on the East Coast, Beth. I was praying yesterday before the storm hit hard and I specifically prayed the words of Matthew 8:27. I loved that you brought that up today. I also thought of Jesus sleeping in the boat amidst the storm, and asked that God would keep me and my family safe and sleeping soundly in our basement just like Jesus was sleeping on the boat. He did. And I think my clueless little girls had the time of their lives camping out in the basement <3 Continuing to pray for those affected… xo!

Praying for all those affected by this storm…praying God will speak to the waters and the storm will turn back to sea. I bawled and bawled as I listened to this powerful word. Jesus let me hear your heartbeat in this personal storm of soul searing pain. Be my anchor Jesus and help me to always choose the right no matter how much pain I’m in. May every person affected by Sandy know that they are not alone, you are right there behind the veil as you have so beautifully reminded me today. We sure do love you our Holy and Mighty God!

    Dear ladies,
I didn’t see this post until tonight, but as I met with my friend (& spiritual director) today, we stopped what we were doing to join in prayer for all those affected. I love knowing that we were all doing this “together,” even if it was at different times.

Thank you for the prayers, Siestas! I am in CT but not in an area majorly affected…it means so much that people from all over are praying for our region (such a wide region it is, that is affected!)…thanking God for you!

Hi Wilma, I just went to click on it and it worked fine for me. Maybe try using another internet application? Like firefox or safari? I’m so sorry it’s not coming up. You can also just try clicking on our livestream page and then clicking on that specific video. Maybe that will help?

I’m glad I follow LPM on Facebook because I would’ve missed this event. It came to my inbox after 9 pm yesterday. :O) I was watching the news this morning. They were talking about 20 newborns being safely taken to other hospitals, having to walk down flights of wet stairs, and holding oxygen for them. One of the news anchors made a statement beginning with thank God. It reminded me of what Beth prayed yesterday that people would be in awe of the Lord and that they would give Him the praise for the outcome. That when our great God moved that people would notice. She may have prayed it in different words, but I think that was the meaning. It made me just sit and close my eyes on the couch and give God praise again for the great ways that He has protected people. I was also reminded of our election and how there is a divide between the candidates about the abortion issue. I read an article recently that there will probably be more Supreme Court appointments and so this is an important time. I thought how God used 20 little babies to say to the world, look at these little ones! These are mine and I protected them! We need to protect those other little ones who are in mother’s wombs. They are precious to God too.

I am so thankful for this blog, but I live in California and don’t get the email about a new blog posting until late in the evening, so I miss time sensitive messages like this. Is there anyway, we can get the messages on time when you send them out. I realize that we are on PST and Texas is Cental Time Zone, but if you could give us advance notice, that would be awesome!

      Lindsee says:

Hi Crystal, because the blog comes through a third party, we have no control when you might receive the email. Yesterday’s livestream was very last minute, however, sometimes we will give you about a days notice, it just depends on our schedule. Please know that you are more than welcome to go back and watch it and join in with us! Blessings!

So sorry I missed this time with everyone praying. I know God hears our prayers no matter what time of day we pray. I think I have been praying for our nation more times than not over these last few months. The storm just reminds us how much we need to be praying over others each and every day. I am focused and interceding!

    Donna says:

So sorry I wasn’t able to join in with you. But I sure have been in prayer for the folks in all 10 states that have been affected. Some friends we knew, who lived in some of the areas, we were able to check on them and found they were fine as was their homes. Now we are praying for those who have lost so much.
Dear Lord, Please turn the eyes of those who are suffering to Yourself. Show them Your comfort in this time of great loss.
    Amen!

Thank you for this and for the “Deceptive Heart” devotional. Both of them hit the bull’s eye for me. God’s grace and timing are amazing.

May God be glorified in the LPM team this weekend and unite you with the women of His calling and preparation. His providence is mysterious and awesome in sending you to Colorado Springs in the midst of the fires and to Maine in the aftermath of Sandy.

Courage, grace, and peace to you all in Christ Jesus!

Thank you for your ministry and heart toward others. I pray for safety and success for you and your staff as you travel and minister this weekend.

I have been blessed and encouraged by your video. I will share it with a friend whose property and family were affected by Hurricane Sandy when it was a one in the islands last week. We are praying for miracles and mercy for all of those affected by Sandy and the other storms in America.

Fall reminds me of how hard it was when my husband died 25 yrs ago(Aug.11,1987).We both were 27 and had been married for 5 yrs when LIFE happened. We had a 10 week old baby girl and a son 2 1/2 yrs old and he got up and went to work and never came home again. As soon as I heard he was dead i knew he was happy to be with Jesus.I can remember being jealous that he loved God more than me. He was killed at work and I was left to pick up pieces and keep going! Fall reminds me of the grace, mercy, and strength God gave me to make it to this day. Fall is the strentghing month before the winter sets in. He will always prepare me for what is ahead. He has got my back.
