so enjoyed being with my 12 yr old daughter for her first LPL event. She is looking forward to going to the simulcast at our church. It was a great mother/daughter weekend. She was taking as many notes as I was.

Loved LPL in Columbus! Wondering how I could get my hands on the words to the chorus that Travis taught us that is “The Word of God has spoken”. I’d love to pass that along to our Worship Pastor @ church.
Thanks for an amazing weekend, Beth & team!!!

    Valerie says:

THANK-YOU Beth, Travis and entire LPM team for coming to Columbus with a Word in due season!!! That Word was so appropriate for so many women in our group and I am sure for many others and the time in which we are living. Such a HIGHLIGHT to meet you, Beth with the other Siesta’s and teach you O-H-I-O!!! To Travis-Love the added rendition onto the song “Just As I Am” and how you lead worship—simply takes us to the Presence of our King!!! Did the ULead conference as well–and between the two–God did speak!!!! WHEW!!!!

    May His Love Abound,
    Valerie

Beautiful song and oh, the pictures are like a thousand words…It touches my heart and the tears for those ladies who are crippled, blind, hurt, have cancer, and need God’s love so desperately as we all do. May God bless you!
I was the woman who was thirsty and He offered me His cup of righteousness
I was the woman who kneeled at feet and He offered me His hope and mercy
I was the woman who touched His garment and He offered me His healing
I was the woman who lived in shame and He offered me His forgiveness
I was the woman who felt so insecure and He offered me His love
I was the woman who lived in doubt and He offered me His faith
I was the woman who was lost and He offered me His way
I was the woman who was sick and He healed my heart
I was the woman who was desperate, seeking, reaching out to Him and He found me and filled me with His goodness
I was the woman who felt there was no reason to live and He offered me His hope and a purpose
I was the woman who needed a Savior and He offered me His Life. ~joyce

    Joy says:

I want to use words to tell you sufficiently what being in Columbus was like and what it meant to me, but I’m not sure that’s possible. For so many years, I’ve studied along with Beth, have heard her speak and have said, “Is she peeking in my window and listening to my phone calls?”, and this weekend was only different in the fact that it was more amazing, maybe than ever before. I wish I could tell you that I had some spiritual breakthrough or heard from God in a loud booming voice—I did not. However, I was loved on and cared for by sweet people in the body who don’t even know me—Beth and Travis along with the team. Hearing Beth talk about the desert and being in it and how God is there before me and it is a place to PREPARE! For 37 years I’ve loved Christ but never experienced a desert like I am now. I wasn’t led out of the desert this weekend, although that would have been lovely, I was however, reminded that He is there; there is preparation there, not desperation, and His love for me knows no bounds and is there=—in the hot, dry, thirsty place I have really never been.

    Bethany says:

I was one of the lucky ones blessed to hear Beth Moore in Columbus. I am so hoping she can post her prayer she said at the end of the conference. She had all of us stand and recite a beautiful prayer to each other. I would love to have it to share. Her message was on the word prepare and the Holy Spirit lit a fire in my heart to know Him more and live for His glory alone. So, if anyone reads this, can you please suggest to Beth to share her prayer on her blog! It was beautiful. I am still flying high from what the Lord is doing in Ohio! Praise His Name!

I will never forget that 7000 women were quiet for almost 3 minutes on Friday evening! The presence of God was so overwhelming! Thanks to all the LPL team! God was so powerful. I came away with “Be holy for I am holy”! In fact that is part of my Siesta Scripture memorization for this month. Love you all!

    Momma Letha says:

My husband surprised me and my oldest daughter with the opportunity to go see Beth in Columbus last weekend. We only found out Friday about 5 hrs before the event started that we were going! Not much time to…PREPARE!!! This was the 1st LPL event we’ve attended and WOW, there is nothing like the atmosphere that was in that arena!!! From the beginning to the end, the Holy Spirit moved thru Beth and Travis and the Team. I left convinced that Beth’s love for Jesus, her love for His Word and her love for His people were authentic which was a blessing in itself in this day of celebrity fake-outs. Thank you for coming to Columbus! Thank you for bringing a Word! And please, could you give us a copy of the prayer we recited to each other at the end of the event?!?!

Blessed beyond measure is what we are!!!! The Lord spoke the words “get ready” to me 2 weeks ago and then to have Beth share that theme the entire time was such a blessing!!! God continues to amaze and astound. I loved 2 songs we sang and I had never heard them before. They were both about the Word. One was the Word of God has spoken – I am changed forever.. can’t remember what the other one was.. are they on a new cd? I would love to buy it if they are!!! Thanks so much to all you sweet things for all you do to bring us a fresh Word!! WE are blessed and forever changed!!! THANK YOU

    Irene Smith says:

My dear friend Jan and I were in attendance in Columbus Ohio from Albion PA. Words can’t begin to describe the wonderful uplifting spiritual experience. Beth our Grace Church has done the majority of your studies. We have 2 men who have participated in every study too. It’s wonderful to actually be with you live instead of on the other side the screen! Travis and the Worship Team – fantastic. The “Just As I Am” song touches my heart. God Bless You – Irene

    Beth,
WOW! God brought it to Columbus, Ohio! Thank you. It was amazing. I’m pretty sure the Holy Spirit used you to speak directly to me….and 7,000 other women. What a blessing. I hope you like your shirt and I hope that you have received the letter in the mail explaining it. It’s from me and my Bible study sisters (The Bath Moose ladies or Esther Ladies) We first met in the Esther Bible study. Anyway, God bless you and thank you for sharing your life with us. You will never know the extent of which God used you to change my life.

Got the awesome opportunity to attend with my 17 year old daughter. One word….Powerful. I am still not over it. I tried to use the verse about the women bringing food from afar (take out) for our family meal. I would love the commissioning prayer we prayed at the end as it moved me so much to speak those words over my daughter. I loved Beth’s comment when she was thanked for all she does and she responded “Just life out of the pit”. Praying that God will do what He does in Salt Lake in a few weeks. My twin who lives in San Antonio will be there for her first LPM event. Awesome. Love the video

This was my first LPM event and I was just overwhelmed with the prescence of the Lord and the Word that was spoken! PREPARE…what an amazing word from the Lord because this is something that every Christian needs to do. I am so thankful that I was able to be in Columbus to hear what the Lord had to say to me! I didn’t want it to be over!!!

Just want to say thank you to Beth, Travis and the entire team. This past weekend has changed my life. Thank you Lord!

    Anastasia says:

OH MY!! What a fabulous weekend. Beth when God gives you a Word…He gives you a Word!! PREPARE is such an awesome word. Thank you for sharing what He placed in your heart!! I am inspired by how much love you have for Jesus. From your open prayer on Friday night, to the commissioning prayer on Saturday afternoon, I knew that I was where I desperately needed to be. I want to send a special thank you to Marylou (one of the women who were praying with women 1 on 1 Saturday morning.), Her words of prayer were a balm to my soul!!! I am preparing to make some changes in my life that are long over due and I need to make them with God’s will in mind, not just mine. I have long believed that Jesus is my Lord and Saviour, but haven’t kept up with my end of the deal. My heart has been broken for a long time, and it is time for it to heal. I am starting that healing today and Columbus LPL was a God given gift on the road out of the desert! Thank you to Travis and his Worship Team…What an awesome group of talented people!! Praise God that we were blessed to hear their voices. 7000+ women (and men too) worshipping Jesus Christ! How awesome is that!!!!!!
God’s Blessing Always, Anastasia (aka Auntie Moo)

PS: Is it possible to get a list of the songs used in the worship? I also quadruple triple the request for the commissioning prayer that Beth had us recite to each other on Saturday. Thank you again!!

I was not in Columbus last weekend. After viewing the video my heart was abundantly blessed. What a blessing to hear Travis sing Just As I Am. My father-in-law passed away quite suddenly this week. His funeral is tomorrow. The song meant so much just now. It is so difficult to say farewell. Our comfort has been in knowing we will see Paw Paw one day in heaven. Praise to the One by His grace and mercy fills our hearts with peace and hope today.

    Dear ones –
I’m so sorry I couldn’t meet afterwards for the siesta picture! Only one thing would have kept me from it – well- two actually – my daughter was there from Omaha and we had to leave early to pick up grandbaby Charlotte from her Grandpoobah. Such a sweet time and we were blessed to hear God speak through you from the theme “prepare” as well as side comments that my daughter and I thought – wait a minute – I need to write that down… The tidbits were inspired as well!
Love that about God and you, His faithful servant! –
Thank you thank you and please come back soon!

I was in Columbus this weekend, It was amazing. I really felt the Lord calling me to dig deeper into His word. I am from Columbus, but live in Chicago now. I was in a store today that I go to fairly often. One of the employees approached me and as she was getting out her cell phone said her daughter-in-law who lives in Lubbock invited her to hear this lady…”Beth Moore” I replied before she looked the name up on her cell phone text. She said yes! but she could not go and wondered if I had ever heard of her. Happily I was able to invite her to a the live Simulcast at our church so she could in a way experience what her daughter in law wanted her to. Oh happy day! Also encouraging to me that because I had mentioned my faith in the past she knew to ask me Shine His light Siesta’s. Thank you Beth and LPL.

I wanted to share a God moment. My son Brent will be a freshman at A&M. He just attended Impact a Christian based camp for freshman Aggies. He said during the week the guys (about 500 that week) would get together in circle and were asked to pray aloud individually,at the same time. Brent said he whispered to his friends beside him to stop praying for a moment and just listen. Brent said “mom, it sounded like falling rain”. I love that. I think most of us agree the sound of falling rain is beautiful and to think our voices lifted in prayer to God is His sound of falling rain.

I was so Blessed to be in Columbus to hear Beth and Travis and the Worship Team! I love how Beth can take one word and then take me on a journey through God’s Word! I learn so much! PREPARE…I learned so many important things about this word and my faith, but I also realized how God had PREPARED me for death of our 4 month old granddaugher. She passed into Jesus’ arms a few weeks ago after struggling with brain bleeds since her birth on March 2, 2011. She was a beautiful fighter, but her little body just couldn’t bear all that it was put through in her short time here. Without God calling me back to him and my learning so much about His Love & Faithfulness, I could not move through these days. Thank you, Beth! Your love for Jesus and God’s Word is wonderfully contagious! I trust this season of life will PREPARE me for much, much more. Oh to Be Still even in the darkess hours and Know He Is God and He is Good!

    Thanks for coming to Ohio!!!
